Thread: Diseasing Corpses right or wrong?
I think diseasing a dead corpse is perfectly OK to do. The fact that person clones with the disease is what is questionable. Knowing this and doing it on purpose, in my opinion is justifiable. As a master combat medic, I do it quite often. This is why:
I don't agree with the TEF system. If I incap you and DB you, that's it, I win, game over... and I don't want you lame tard commandoes coming back to 1 meter of me and getting your overpowered 6400 point 1 shot kill while I can't do anything about it but run and run till my TEF is gone.
The FIRE wounds from a flame thrower are more damaging, faster ticking, and longer lasting in many instances than diseases are, and happen on first application, not 30 seconds after being applied. So unless your shot right next to a nice deep lake to swim in, a flame thrower is going to get you down to 50% wounds guarenteed, and in most cases 100% wounds anyway. I see diseasing corpses so they clone with wounds as nothing more than balancing out the flame thrower's wounding ability. (Master Commandoes and Master Combat Medics expend the same amount of skill points to get their profession anyway)
Diseasedoesn't matter if it's applied to a doctor or a TKA, or anyone who has access to a doctor, or anyone who simply askes someoneto duel and DB them effectively removing the disease. So it's not like it's really even a usefull "exploit" in the first place.
Every combat medic i've ever fought used/uses the same "exploite" against me and everyone I know. I'm just balancing them out.
And finally, rebels deserve it ;-)
