I don't think the hordes of people who have canceled due to the CU or Publish 22 are going to stay whipped forever.
Believe it or not there is a threshold, a point of no return you don't cross with your clients.
My server is practically dead, my guild in shambles, all thanks to the developer's stupid decisions, I am full temp but canceled because this patch is the last straw in a long line of them.
If you don't believe me look at the people who have posted here on these very forums a long time, and are canceling or considering it for real.

They will never listen to us because Money is the only language of the developers
I agree but the dev's may not listen but the person next to you at the local game store will when he picks it up and is thinkin about buying SWG!
