All i can say is wow, nice discussion going on here. I dont think the DPS is a problem, CMs are fine dmg wise if u look at DPS.


BUT....I think the problem is caused by the sudden tick of a disease or poison. I am sure alot of u will agree a sudden tick of 600 (just a number) to a stat is disturbing to say the least, hell i know it would be to me.


Here is an idea, could be good or bad, but its an idea. What if the sudden tick, wasent so sudden? But rather than 600 comming every10 seconds (think that right, cant remember), maybe a smaller tick, more oftern would be less dramatic to the players being hit. Maybe a tick hitting once every 5 seconds for 300. There are 2 ways to look at this though....


1. It may give u more time to have react to the poison, as it can be more of a healable value.


2. It gives less time for docs to whip on a cure before the first tick hits.



Another thing is, i think poison is spot on, it works fine, does semi-good dmg and i dont think many ppl have a problem with it. The main issue i think ppl have is that you can load serious WOUNDS onto a player, much more than any other profession can in a single "hit". I think if they upped the poisons maybe, but reduced the disease dmg in PvP, then it would make alot more people happy. Just a thought.


P.S. I used to be a combat medic back when i first started the game, so have had some experiances with CMs back when dots killed (bleeds etc).
