have you ever used the poison/disease resist buffs?

I use them all the time. Still get poisoned 75% of the time. Even with my Jedi State Defense, the poisons/disease still come through.

No defenses? You don't need defenses. Just toss a few poisons and burst run away. Hell most CM's are Rifleman. Rifleman has the most defense of all the Ranged professions. And the ability to hit the mind every second.

The anti-poison and foods are also broken. They don't do anything at all.

I used to be a CM. I once took out a group of 7 Rebels just as they were getting off the shuttle in a Player City. They had a Doc with them. BAM, I toss 3 area poisons and a few diseases and spammed Strafe Shot while running away from the Rifleman of their own. I managed to get away, I came back to find 4 of them incapped from the poison/disease combo including their Doc. Run in a DB the 4 and had 2 of my grp members finish the near dead other Rebels.

That wasn't fun for me, and I know it wasn't fun for them. That was the day I realized that CM had totally ruined PvP on my server. (ruins it on every server) I dropped CM that day and never even dreamed of picking it back up.

No defenses huh? I used to Tank Canyon Krayts as a Rifleman/CM.

I suggest you check your references. This is some really bad fan fiction you're posting here. Even worse than some of the crap on the TK boards. Maybe you're just flusttered and are exaggerating a bit or vying for attention. Either way, I'm still laughing at some of this. Maybe the doc forgot to carry come cures.....hmm no I dont think there are too many PvP doc's that are that stupid.

Speaking of which, since they are all hyped up about making themselves a history why dont we as CM's do it too? We could come from the Yavin where we worshipped the Fire Breathing Spiders which gave us l337 powers as long as we sacrificed a few virgins (texxie :smileysurprised and some defense stackers. Oh and we practiced the mystical art of Slingpoo Onjoo.

It was developed in Japan by their version of a wandering Apothecary/Monk. While trying to find some way to defend himself against shaolin monks who would repeatedly steal his strong alcohol enhancers in order to develop a "drunken" fighting style (he thought they were just drunks but oh well). Hoping to gain inspiration from the wildlife as other martial arts had he one day came upon a group of huge red butt baboons. The rest is history.

Just curios what u CM thinks about our efforts in PvP.......I must say that I think CM are abit 2 powerfull on chiemera we have a CM have poison that ticks for 1000-1100.......quite ruin the whole thing dont need skills 2 be succesful in PvP.

So this is not a flame or whine post just want 2 hear whau u guys have 2 say about it

There is no skill in this game for PvP groundside. Only templates and gear differences.

I just got jacked by a TK/defense stacker who was unbuffed. Even with 93% thakitillo he was still able to KD/dizzy me and keep me there. His headhit1's were hitting harder than my standard Jawa usually does (which is normal)and my 80% kinetic helmet just slowed down the inevitable. Thank goodness it was a duel. Time to search for some 99% thak.

Afterwards we had a DoT war. I won....but I still almost died after he stacked numerous MIND poison, disease, and fire dots on me. Luckily there was a doctor to cure us.

p.s.- I'm really looking forward to the revamp. No more defense stacking.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... wow lol.

Alright, were you using a Tenloss? Dxr's light up defense stackers, plus if he's unbuffed, nail his health since he probably buffed up his/her mind with branndy and such. Hit Flushing Shot for states, *Poison* (I didn't use this), Kite, and Strafe2. I've killed full buffed Stackers while Unbuffed without them even getting close to me. And that's before I was even a CM

Yes, I started out with the DX but as you can tell he was too close, so I switched to my Jawa which has better close ranged modifiers on it (big negatives on the DX) and since he didn't have armor it still would have done better than my other stuff. No point in doing states when he was unbuffed when SS2 would have been sufficient to take him down IF I had hit him enough which I didn't. Kiting is easy when you've got a decent headstart on them but I didn't. Kiting is also overrated and coming from the other side of the coin I can say there are plenty of ways to get past that (if you dont run in a straight line then I'm closing on you). Yeah I've killed my share of stackers before too and I'm a big PvP'er but sometimes the odds just go against you. Against stackers you really have to have some favorable odds to start with.

Trust me dude, I know a little bit about this thing they call PvP. My rating is proof of that.

Also, why the heck did you necro this old thing? Couldn't find something else to discuss?

Eh, it was only two or three pages back and I was bored . I just re-tried the above scenario, started with about 20m of distance between us, Kited, Posioned, Disased, wiped the floor with his stacker ass using me new 800 DXR, he KD'd me twice with Lunge2, I just stood back up after a bit of pounding, healed, and started running again.

I usually like to use the DXR due to the nice accuracy modifiers and it bypasses PSG's but the close range modifiers are horrendous. 800 sounds like its worth it. Legendary weapon perhaps? Healed yourself? Was they a fencer? Most TK's go straight for the headhit1. Even with 80% kinetic they still cut through it fairly well.

Keo's game b-day is coming up. I've yet to get anything legendary yet the entire time though.

Looted at the caves, not exceptional... They were actually a TKM/fencer, first time they used fencer, second time was TKA, they lost both times, I use 90 Armor, couple with about 3000 Mind, they're on the ground long before I am, each shot with my Dxr took about 150 out of 'is mind (He's a guildy and has top knotch sh1t too) plus about -300 for the Poison and -150 for the Disease, he really didn't have a hope... If I ever get into deep sh1t, Synth is amazing, he'll do near 0 damage hehe, I just battled a Rifleman MCM, used Synth plus 26% Stun... his 500 max jawa wasn't doing a damn thing, not to mention with Doc, I was able to esily cure his 1.5k Poison and lay him on his ass..
