Thread: Top 5 issues for CM this week

How is being a doctor helps you make better poisons ?
I thought doctors do not get those components.
Also at the moment there is a workaround for heals: have master doctor make a schematic for you and use it in factories to produce sub-components.
20 charges,
77 potency,
240 effectiveness,
19 range.
That's with 5 points experiment on sub-components and 10 points CM put as 3/7 Ease of Use/Effectiveness.
So a bit better potency and effect on mine over a bit better range and more charges on yours.
Does not look like those extra points for sub-components really made any difference, or did they ?

the only component that adds to potency is resilence compound i think....and i used all 10 points on that component...
er.. all 10 points on the resilence compound? You don't get 10 points to experiment on it unless your a master doc as well. Maybe that's why you're having a higher success rate with resistances? In which case that was the whole issue of the CM complaint..... I'm sleepy lol i could be wrong. It's been a few days since I made a resilence compound but I'm pretty sure it's based of medicine expermintation not CM experimintation in which case you only get 5 points if you ain't a doc.
I have 3/4 doctor except for the (injury speed line). I also have stopping shot in pistoleer and Master CM. I like my template. Except for the fact doctors are about to become very important in pvp.Especially those who can heal disease/poison (which i can't because of not taking that lone line)

First of all i realized something...
all the C poisons take identical components...as we know identical components will ignore thequality of the component whenassembling the finalproduct. In C packs, only the resilence compoundis a single component not requiring identical parts. Resilence compound is also the only component that add potency which determines if your dots stick or not. Since this is the case, the only area that doc crafting pays off in is on potency...hence could be the reason why my dots sick more than CMs since i have 10 points to experiment with. Its interesting that sekir's dots had more potency then me but then again material difference on server could be part of thar reason. i think i also used less points for potency then he did...
regardless of way, the fact is still that CMs cant get all 10 points to work on thier dot comps with and this needs to be fixed
K I logged in yesterday and crafted a post-patch AOE Stim C. And it worked GREAT, beautiful heals for ALL... not just a random person.
I go to work.......... an emergency patch is implemented. I come home from work and start the money grind... cause hey........ I needed cash. I go Overt and bust out my faction pets and start grinding. After about 5 STs I see my guards needed haling so I bust out the AOE stims from earlier.
You heal yourself for blah blah blah
My pets did NOT get healed. No matter who I targeted, me, pets, etc the AOE stim only healed me. Now I have not been in a group since the emergency patch and I am currently at work to test it, but I was wondering are the AOE stims broken again? Or are they just not working on factioned pets? I'm at work right now so I can't test it further..........
Any input?
What about experimentation? Before I made CM, I could experiment on stuff to actually make it BETTER. Now, I experiment on something with a 5% fail rate and I fail 7 out of 10 times. Now the math says to me that I should only fail around 1 every 20 at 5%.
Couple that with the fact that I swear some components got harder to make when I crossed over (could be just me getting aggravated with the experimentation), it's getting out of control...I mean, how many prototype bio controllers do I really have to make before I get through one without a fail?
What is the effectiveness of the crafting tools you are using Kirillian_NaJax? It actually makes a difference in how often you fail experimenting. I was annoyed to find out that one of my tools was -.99, while another was 2.04. I don't craft anything I plan on using unless I use my 2.04 toolkit now.
