Thread: Top 10 Questions
Forget the shoe..use the whole foot.
Resources are in stacks..crates are stacks..stacks should go up to 1million units..vendors should sell stock on a slider instead of producing more stacks for the database to track.
Everything else is just 'things that I'd like to see.'

7. Why was item hex-color coding removed from crafted items, but kept for houses, backpacks, etc.?
They said that it was removed because it competed with the "premium" column in the bazaar.

I like that question but I don't know what question to bump for it and I don't want to delay this process by much more than a few more hours. I could annoy them about the map thing separately which I already have and hope they change it.
With the changes to how the publishes are being done these days our chances of getting stuff changed are better than they have been for the past 6 months.
im master rifleman without being master marksman and i fire once per second using a 9.9s T21.
If it's not too late - a thought about question 10 involving entry fees....
All along entry fees have been a proxy for private vendors, since those are not allowed. Previously, private vendors were prohibited because it allowed players to put items up for sale at 1 credit, and use the vendors as unlimited storage. Keep in mind, this was back when terminal vendors (and supposedly npc vendors, but for the bug) based vendor costs on the price of items on the vendor, making the practice of items listed for 9999999 credits not feasible. Therefore, private vendors were disallowed because then, with vendors only in public buildings, players would either have to pay obscenely for the storage (by setting prices high so that nobody would buy) or risk people buying stored items.
Now, however, with vendor prices stabilized, people can and do use vendors for unlimited storage, listing items at 9999999 credits in public buildings, secure in the knowledge that nobody will buy these items. Effectively, the reason for disallowing private vendors is gone.
Perhaps we should focus more on the underlying issue that we want (vendors in private buildings) rather than trying to get the devs to reinstate the "workaround" we have been using so long.
There are other reasons for private vendors. And the storage problem hasn't gone away nor will it if the item caps go into effect it will just be lower storage bins. And the real solution long term is Directed sales which is what we are asking for as part of the Top 5 response. The entry fee is just too low right now for a number of purposes even those not involving private sales. I think we should stick with the questions we have and submit them.
I am honored that you asked, and yes I approve whole-heartedly, though as I said only '9' is really a big issue for me.
I am 'managing' my expectations on this pass. We have so much untapped potential, but I know I will have to accept baby-steps.
Good luck brother,
- Will the powerful republic blaster's cert. be fixed? Both by making it so marksmen can't use them and fixed it so all pistoleer can?
- Is the goal of the combat overhaul to make range/melee combo professions undesirable?
