Trying to up your post count, neutrineaux? Or do you not have anyone to talk with?

Oh and your counter on TKA-MC's post about other profs like commando and BH's- BH's can't kill a Jedi effecitvely without keeping investigation 3 and taking up a melee profession while commando carries AP0 weapons except slow grenades and launchers and misses 8/10 shots with ALL of their weapons, nice try buddy.

It's still all about mind damage. Riflemen are the next 'to be balanced' proff, IMO, since they can range incap and range DB via mind attacks, at 1 shot/second. However mind fire weaponry is still unbalance.


CM was, IMO, the MOST unbalanced of the lot of PvP problems. I don't mind seeing focus shift to the next problem.


and now is it still the most unbalanced... unbalanced into nearly completely useless. a commando can at least set you on fire, lol.




As to dropping MCM- I think , for the most part, Combat Medics lost it's prime function and focus in the game. It was never designed as the 'most offensive DOT profession in the game'. Healing on one side, destroying entire squads on the other (unless EVERY character was a doc).


this is simply not true. "chemical warfare expert" is not a title you give someone you expect to concentrate on healing. it was a choice left to the cm.




CM still have their awesome damage healing powers.

This is truly a part of being a medic in a combat squad. The mind healing alone is one AWESOME and unique perk.


mind heal is the only significant function of cm now. and it has such short range that in the current zerg battles, the lag alone makes it nearly completely unusable.


The poisons and diseases can be countered, but only by using appropriately complex medical supplies that are by no means easy to make.


baloney. they are straightforward crafting items. even moderately powered ones are ample to completely negate the effect of cm. completely.


The resist buffs are also generally an hour or less duration, with a high potency poison/disease still overcoming them.


one shot of area heal wipes out your occasional "stick." been there. seen it. now you see "/shout docs area heal!" every so often. poison and disease DOT's do not even tick once in most cases. and they do not stick very often, to begin with. and while you stand still for the throw, you get shot down, so more than one or two attempts is unlikely.


PvE combat medics are extremely useful. When I'm doing the DWB or vettes, I want (and need) a couple CM's in the group.


in some very limited places, like the corvette or DWB, cm's can be helpful, although not essential. otherwise, in pve, cm is not needed.




So, CM's did get balanced down a lot so their poisons and diseases no longer dominate PvP.


ahem* they simply do not matter at all in pvp now, sir. that is a far cry form "no longer dominate."


CM's were the counter to melee defence stackers, so the fixing and balancing is nowhere near complete, but from the majority of feed back from players I've received- this was a way overdue fix. Too many players I know already dropped the game, sick of 'CM dominated PvP'.


same group will always drop unless they are the "winner!" good riddence to them.

Nobody trolls, Neutrineaux makes only one post at a time. Sounds simple to me. You have a problem with what is being said here, go head off to the jedi forums or something.

Why do people think that mlindheal is so good? It gives loads of mindwounds, it sucks up half of you mind and you are down then even faster. Well Mindheal makes the 169points rly worth =]. Healing in area... Well healing is so much ndd in area huh . Docs got buffs and cures and they WORK. But they nd less skillpoints...
If some pople who are complaining here would actually take up cm for a month and see how much fun it is now =].
