Remember what happened to Carbiners when they were the AOE gods? (people can be hit by a carb AOE what, once every 30 seconds now?)

What do the resists do? Do the make you more likely to not be poisoned/diseased? Do they cut down the damage?

I've seen alot of things mentioned about lack of CM defense and how they die easily but I think this argument is flawed. People say that there are "uber" people running around with 90% resist composite and stats buffed to high heaven who are impossible to kill. Well what stops you as a CM from doing the same. I'm a MCM/Master Rifleman and I can get over 3k mind and throw on some high resist stun composite too. The only people who can kill me on a regular basis are other CMs and the occational defense stacking rifleman.
