When you're poisoned you don't just walk around and start shooting at people just think about what mustard gas will do to a person. This is Chemical Warfare





Show me a chemical weapon that only effects the enemy though.... If mustard gas was unleashed on a battlefield it would effect EVERYONE the same.

How the hell can you even say that CM isnt overpowered(in PVP(... that's btw what counts for the other players))?

You might not have no other combat skills than the disease/poison, nor defenses... but come on! You're not supposed to be godlike(attack-wise) just because of it.

People should have bigger chance(more than 0 and more than 25) chance of evading your damned poison/disease... Its not fair to us being doomed by 2moves.

hey if we were godlike then we would beable to send forth a army of angels with buning swords that turn water to ice and lava to pigons

no but really ide say TKM is more godlike then CMs i mean ive only seen master heavy swordmen beet them out of skill and still then its only if the TKM don't know how to use his skills right...if iv'e seen a smart TKM get beatin by someone whos not a master hevay swordsman then it was out of luck yet if i see amaster CM fight a master of any fighting class then the CM looses...(and im saying if they use only there CM skills versesonly the other guys fighting skills from 1 class)

yes they should make diseases a lil weaker and they should make it so CMs can only through from 60m but besides that we are not over powered

now let me gess all you whiners are going to say theres alot more thats overpowered about CMs and + u are still going to say that diseases are overpowered and so is the fact that they can through from 60m even in deep water but saying then over and over isnt going to change anything......if i said your classes were overpowered you ould say the same thing (no only a few aspects of it are and so and so is still stronger and they should be nurfed tilla novice artisan can kick there **edit** blah blah blah)

I'll stop when we get a 75% damage reduction. Really I don't see any reason you guys shouldn't be affected by it. Another thing there should be some sorta gas mask. I mean we had em in World War I...You'd think with spaceships travelling the speed of light they could make something along that line. A rebreather of sorts sounds pretty simple. Combat medic isnt meant to be a PvP character. It's to give a group a slight upper hand in battle and be able to be more likely to survive than say a doctor. Whens the last time you were throwing area heals? Healing someones mind right before they get incapped. For people that actually player their intended role and help out there groups I say good work. But to you ub3r l337 **edit** buying millions of dollars in high quality poisons and diseases chucking em as fast as you can to burst run outta there. I spit on you. That is no where what I think that the devs had in mind for this profession. I dont remember seeing the defination of a combat medic being a coward bio-terrorist.

perhaps the best idea i've had was aaoe cure poison and aoe cure disease. We get aoe stims, why not aoe cures? This balances poisons while not overpowering docs

I have read over 50+ star wars books, and I remeber them using at the least bioengineering to conduct chemical warfare on that one race.... to keep them subservient to the empire (if i recall they were poisonning the ground). I also seem to remember a case of the empire building some type of bioweapon.

Id like to hear a CM come on one of these threads and tell me which profession kills them more then 50% of the time. Even if they come up with a profession that does, the other 15 professions wont come close. CMs have it too easy and denying that is your right, but just think how stupid you look to us for denying the obvious. People dont like lil ol Pistoleer now with his 200-550 genosian stun blaster and want it nerfed. Guess what, Im a Pistoleer and I agree, the damn guns absurd. Im not going to be a dumass and say no its not. Geezus, you CMs are a bunch of ignorant folks, Im telling you.

Should be easy enough to imp for disease, and makes sense.


CM can heal their own disease right?


Well maybe not if they are being attacked (getting hit per round, or shot at (misses dodging) ). That makes sense too.


Throwing range shouldn't further then pistol. This makes sense. A canester of disease isn't a football.


CM stil get their ability with realistic constraints. IF CM's want to do the tactic of diseasing a large group, they might need support to get close enough.


Add in CM ability to make 5 min buffs for anit disease that go on a stomach timer and now they could buff a group prior to a fight. runs out after 5 min, and can't be applied for another 30 or something (like a harmless downer) so now you've got tactics involved. CM throws a disease and yer group is protected then yer ok. if not they you are screwed. Don't have a CM? what makes you think you should live through a disease. Protect yer group and throw your disease. Don't protect yer group and throw, well you've got pissed off diseased group members (possibly yourself)



Got a CM? Well then he should be able to fix group up and protect you for 5 min from another disease.


Something like that. You want to leave in the ability of disease with somewhat realistc contrstaints / solutions.


Oh and I don't know about anyone else, but if I'm swimming in water, it's REAL hard to throw something with great distance.

the classes that kill me in PvP the most are RM TKM and BHs

hey im saying this now and if you read up iv'e been saying this for awile your right poisons/diseases should be nurfed and i like mattiuses idea of the 5 min buff that CMs could give

oh BTW if anyone ever meets me in combat i will assure you that i will not poison and run....i going for MCM (master combat medic) and MHS (master heavy swordsman) so ill mind poison ya let that sink in a lil wile i run to ya then mind bleed and mind hit so buff all ya wantthe think blob inside your skull wont last long agenst me ..........unless your a wookie.....i dont know y....i can just never seem to mind incap them
