Or I can have a Doctor with me....I don't have to pick up the skills myself. That's the point.

Or I can have a TEF riding TKM that's beating on your Doctor. Again, moot point.

Here is my favorate saying.

"Without the ability to to cure yourown poison/diseae,
you're a liability to me."

In large PvP or single PvP,if you can't cure your own poison/disease, your effectiveness is severely limited.

Or I can bring a whole crew to TEF gangbang anything else you got but then again not the point...You make it sound like nothing can be done unless you pickup doctor yourself and I have proven otherwise. That's the point.

I agree with tsunamika here. I am master Doc / Master Rifle. I get so friggin tired of my teamates who do not have doc screaming for a poison cure.

If you cant cure poison, you MUST have 1 doc for every 3-4 people in your group and even MORE important... you BETTER know where your doc is and get to him so he/she can heal your ass.

btw, I have a master pistol / master CM alt. As much as I love tossing the 1k mind tick poisons, running and giggling, I like being able to heal the poison MUCH more!

I think this thread just proves that CMs aren't invincible, they just require different tactics than your average combatant to bring down. As soon as SOE lets players copy characters to TC, we could see how some of these hypothetical matchups turn out (we may be waiting a long, long time).

An another tactical tip.

Find out which number in your group corresponds with the doctor.

When poisoned:
Press ctrl+the doctors number
Now the blue arrow will point towards the doctor. This makes it easier to get within healing range.

(Note: Difficult Terrain can make it a bit messy and offset the arrow direction)

BTW Yes it is true, I've tested it myself, poison only ticks once every TEN seconds!

You deserve to get owned in PvP. Simple and plain honest truth.

I don't agree.

Not having one non-combat profession in your group make you hopeless in PvP is not an acceptable way of prmoting interaction/interdependancy.

By that rule they should give squad leader 1 ability that make everyone in his group 100% immune to all forms of damage. unless other side have image designer with them.

They should allow smuggler one skill that excempt everyone in his group from 75% pvp damage reduction. Unless otherside have weaponsmith/armorsmith with them.

They should make any group that have BH uber conceal so that they are not targetable by opposit side. unless opposit side have ranger in their group.

These kind of forced interaction/interdependancy is a good thing? where unless you have 1 profession, you deserved to get owned? I don't think that is a good combat mechanic because it trivialized the skill of both side. You wanna go into GCW and walk away thinking you won/lose that battle because both side fought hard and you won or lost because one of you were better? or do you wanna walk off thinking you won or lost because one side just happen to have CM/Doc?

I think the Anti-CM tactics by original poster is a good tactic NOT because it "nullify" CM, but it is a good PvP tactic in any situation and it allow lot of people to continue to have fun PvP until Dev get around to remove all the bugs associated with not only CM, but with all other combat related issue like buffs, armor and everything else.

Thank you, they should come in handy. Also be careful if CM's stand near turrets/ATST's for protection
