Thread: Making money through Combat Medic skills
I am not yet a combat medic, but that is one of my goals, and with my current combination I face a similar dillemma. My solution relies on the dynamic nauture of progressing through professions. I see it as beneficial to take lots of skills erly on, since xp is specific to skills - there's no downside to being diverse when you are climbing the skill ladders. So, for now, I have some artisan skills - enough to find decent resources and I'm doing pretty well for myself that way. I have earned enough now, that I can start buying waypoints for high end resource veins, which will allow me to drop artisan when I need to and still harvest and sell resources. It cuts into my profit margin a bit, but I can balance that with high value missions since I will be combat heavy when all is said an done.

Sorry guys, I have no idea what you're on about...
The way I see it is a CM can rake in cash.
Look at it this way - A doc can make money from selling stims and from buffing but, as has been pointed out several times, we are COMBAT medics. Using area stims,I can keep an entire group on it's feet against tough mobs, so there is a lot of cash (and xp) to be got from grouping.
Better yet, grab yourselves a TKA and a CH and get to somewhere like Dantooine/Lok. Mission payouts are an easy 10k, thats 3.3k each per mission.
I'll admit that the combat classes have it better - they buy a rifle, pistol or whateverand fire away and can get it repaired at little cost, whereas we have to buy resources repeatedly to make stims, but really, how many other classes (and I mean individual classes not combintations) give you the ability to heal an entire group of damage at one press of a button, dish out damage in PvP like we do?
Quit whining, get a couple of decent fighters and go make some cash. Or drop CM and roll a TKA/Commando.
Odds on next post being a flame? Evens.
