So your saying that a MBH will always beat a CM? How about i go on the BH forum and post that as a MCM as was beat by a MBH, nerf the BH's!
People can give advice on how to PvP, but to actually practice it in the heat of battle is a different story. Next time be prepared.
I still remember the time I was standing in line at the Moenia shuttleport overt waiting. A red dot appears on my radar. Bring him up on examine. Master Pistoleer, oh crap i'm going to die quick. I just stood there like I was afk. Right after he turned the corner, whap! 600+ tick poison. Quick heal, stopping shot, heal, then suppression fire and move away a little. 2 ticks he was down to 1 and a couple of quick shots and he was down. He was pissed enough to give me the famous tells all MCM's get if they PvP at all
"No wonder CM's are going to get nerfed!" or one of the various others we get.
Why can't other professions see that the CM's can win and lose at PvP. Other combats classes feel like they are not powerful enough if a CM can beat them. Why is that?

Why are you guys making personnel attacks on this guy? Even members of your own profession admit that it was the dev's intention to limit your range.. I like the idea of not nerfing this profession and extending the range of the otheres, but the dev's keep on telling us that the game platform was desinged with 64 meters being the longest range. My question is how come a turret can shoot out to 70 meters if 64 is the longest range supported?
Sorry guys this is my fault. The CM Gatton is referring to before is me. He was crying exploits before he fully understood how CM experimentation works. I got several hate tells from his friends threatening to kill me IRL if I didn't stop throwing poison at 96m.
Truth is prepatch and postpatch the highest base range I could get was 48m. As I explained to you on the Kauri boards Gatton and has been explained to you again, a Master Combat Medic is able to throw at double the base range. there is a whole XP tree based on pure DISTANCE. Try playing a CM sometime and you will see the pain it took me to lovingly craft my AE Mind Melts.
Stats on the poisons and diseases I used that night:
AE Mind C - 120 eff,48m,23 area,126 pot
AE Mind C - 210 eff,44m,27 area, 126 pot
Single Mind C - 296 eff,44m,126 pot
AE Health C - 210 eff,44m,27 area, 126 pot
AE Mind Disease C - 106 eff, 44m,120 pot
AE Action Disease C - 106 eff, 44m,120 pot
Gatton and the rest of you crying "nerf CM", study the class before you come here whining. That night you guys finally wised up and made suicide runs specifically targetting me. Good fight that night but still sad of you all to cry exploit. Learn and respect your foe.

The class shouldn't matter. Just because you are an MBH doesn't give you an automatic win. You need to play smarter than the other guy or you deserve to lose.

None of my friends threatened to kill you in real life man. And yes I understand perfectly well how it works now. I was not crying nerf Grau'din. I came to the forums to find out for myself, and what do I get? I'm met with sarcasm as soon as I ask the simple question if the devs were going to lower the range. Now I'm being labeled a nerf cryer. Some of the people on this board have been civil and answered my questions honestly without automatically going on the defensive, well more like the offensive. Call me what you will Grau'din, but I really think your blowing this out of porportion. If anything I'm envious of your profession. I wish the dev's would let me shoot my rifle at the ranges I see some of you guys throwing your poisons

I was labeled as an exploiter for using my class to it's fullest abilities. How's it feel?
Guys, like it or not, you do need to be nerfed.
Coming from firsthand experience, I watched as an entire imperial outpost (about 8 people or so) were all systematically taken out by a CM. He was buffed and in composite armor. He simply mind diseased each player; with the high tick rate they got incapped before they could even scratch him. Finally, it took 2 AT-STs to bring him down.
I'm sorry, but I can't give any of you any sympathy when it comes to mind disease. Yes, you do deserve a good attack, but one player shouldn't be able to dismantle 8 players and take over an outpost. Especially by hitting them with disease and then camping until they get incapped, since there is no way their attacks can taken him down before they get diseased out.

You were labled an exploiter because of ignorance. I was guilty of that as well. You had the opportunity here to be the bigger man

The issue that everyone, EVERYONE, has against CMs is the Mind Attacks we have. Mind Poison/Disease allow CMs to attack an unhealable HAM Pool. Is that the fault of the CMs? No, it isn't. It's the fault of the devs for disallowing Mind Damage Healing at the same rate of Health and Action damage healing.
Had the CM attacked you using Health or Action Poison/Disease, you wouldn't be here complaining. Why? Because you would have simply used your Doc-Crafted Stim-Bs to self-heal and taken out the CM.
With the upcoming changes to Combat and HAM costs(decreasing pool size instead of causing damage when specials are used) expect this ONE and ONLY issue people have against CMs to dissappear...and with it, the nerf cries.

I still am the bigger man. I don't cry nerf or exploit when I am beaten. And it wasn't just mind poison I used that night. It was a combination of health poison, mind poison, action disease and mind disease.

Hmm let someone threaten your life and see how you feel. Not that I particularly care but when someone does that it makes me think how pathetic that person is and I pity them that they have no other life than online gaming. There were a flood of tells coming from many people that night telling me to stop, they were reporting me to a CSR etc. One in particular that stands out is a Kalavati. So explain to me how I am blowing something out of proportion in a game when several people in that same game threaten me IRL? Talk about the pot and the friggin kettle...
Grau'din, this isn't about people threatening your life. This is about your fear of a nerf. You're so scared that you'll attack, label, do what ever you can to discount anybody who so much as even inquires about the range on your poison/diseases. I'm getting from the posts i've read on this forum that you guys get attacked a lot by nerf cryers, and frankly you really could handle this a lot better. The majority of the time you simply call them a newb and tell them they have no idea what they're talking about. Most of the nerf cryes I see on this forum are masters of their profession, and yet their a newb? Explain to them what they saw and how it isn't unbalanced. Have a debate. Your emotional responses do nothing but provoke them and results in even more nerf crying. Your not the bigger man Grau'din. If you were you wouldn't have jumped in on this thread with your "He's a nerf cryer! Don't pay any attention to him!" Get a grip man, its just a **edit** game, let me ask my questions with out the childish name calling. If you'll look on the forums I never called you an exploiter.
I'll just tell you guys what I think about CM nerfing etc.
As a TKM, I can PWN a CM 1 on 1, no exceptions. Its just not possible to get me down that low in the time it takes to close the distance between me and CM. The original poster and everyone else that thinks CM should be nerfed obviously have no experience in game design. "Nerfs" are not the solution to these kinds of problems. I would try giving doctors an AOE diease/poison cure, which many people have already suggested and I think the developers are working on. Theres no need for more posts like this, CM is bad in 1v1 (unless thrown in with another combat class, CM TKM is awesome) and great in largescale PvP battles.
Every class can be exploited, learn to live with it and dont generalize and demand a nerf for the whole class, thats all I can say.
