The real argument seen here is the people pwned by some good combat medics can't stand the fact that they were killed by a combat medic, paying COMPLETE disregard as to the very COST of being one. As a noob, I had assumed that master marksman would be sufficient for killing once I had mastered my CM. Couldn't have been more wrong. Combat medic costs more skill points than any other "waaah-waaah-this-should-be-nerfed" profession that MY newbie mind can think of, and to top it off, you HAVE to have a complete master in something else in order to pull off killing of ANY kind. so that's 4 professions total, skill points all used up, just to be able to defend yourself against the typical buffed (in my case) Imperial jerk who silently attacks you from beind while you're TEF'd on a low-paying* rebel mission.

*(the mission is low paying because you're a combat medic. don't forget, CMs have no good inherent way to make money until they spend ALL their skill points on killing professions)

It's obvious these people just want CM nerfed because their 2 million credit composite armor is useless against poison.

moron all the other classes that got nerfed had other means of killing, you didnt solo a krayt with your power hammer mind bleed. Dont waste peoples bandwidth.

you mean to tell me that you feel that you have a balanced profession. when 1 CM in a group of 12 people that are getting WAXED can take out a group of 3 people that actually have spent more time learning to PVP and how to fight and deal with the other professions. I see CM's do very little of what they are said to be and more of tossing poisons and diseases to us the disease and poison incap bug.

This is exactly why we want CM nerfed, and it is a more then legit reason. Just because you are too sucky to afford good armor does not mean that this argument holds no ground.

Wouldn't it be better to petition for the devs to make a friday feature on exactly how poison resists work then? Or should we be nerfed just because you are to sucky to get a set of good resist clothes and find good resist food... you can end up with +55 resist.


Now, nobody seems to be intrested in seing wether resist works... so I understand, nerfing CMs is easier... but hell try it. If it doesn't work petition for it to be fixed.

I've seen it refered to with as much as +30 (Mind you, that was with exceptional resources) but since you guys are always picking on poisons using spider venom I can't see how that would matter the least.

Wow. That's some great logic, XanaXian. You're saying every other profession got nerfed, and now it's our turn. I've got a question for you and your infinite wisdom;

Are all Imperials like you 12 year olds who couldn't form a coherent sentence if one shot them in the face, or is it just you? You're like that one kid on the Simpsons that says "Ha Ha..." at everyone's misfortune.

Oh, and JoHNnYBLaZEpw; was I talking about BH? Did I ever even mention BH? I don't think so... So, I guess you're just saying that I should just up and stop being a CM because it takes too many skill points or something? Nice.

resisting rifleman: 85% composite with 39% stun - 700k credits
resisting TKM's: 90% kinetic composite: 500k credits
resisting CM's: 4/0/4/0 doctor: 111 skillpoints.

Why does everything else in this game require items to be resisted, yet countering a CM's require the use of half your skillpoints? 700 poison ticks and 490 disease ticks, and not a single thing can be done about it. get incaped, have the CM run back up using the groupTEF to DB, and you clone to a place you binded to with...*gasp* 972 mind wounds...from only 2 disease ticks

I don't have a clue what you said here. From what I gather you are trying to say that CMs aren't supposed to throw poisons but should be ranged battle healers? Well We are supposed to do that and/or throw poisons. That means we are meant to throw poisons.


And calling it the incap bug is a misnomer because the Devs have never said that it was a bug. They changed it from letting a poison or a disease sticking and incapping to having to have both to incapp. I think that to clear this up we should switch it back to the way it was. Would that make you happier?
