And may I add that this is a Memorial, not a cemtary. It's like gathering at the Washington Monument, or the Lincoln Memorial because these are icons that stand for ideals that are agreeable, it's not like walking on Washington or Lincoln's grave.

In this case I view it as Moraj wasa Beta Tester. He was there and worked hard to improve the game. We improved the game in Beta by constant, vigilant, never-ending communication, as we all did. Would he have agreed with our wish to see the issues addressed as the Devs have promised? I don't know.

But a memorial to a soul who was willing to put in the tireless effort to communicate to the devs in order to make a better game, don't you think that is truly representative of what we are trying to do here?

Whoa! That's a bit harsh. As I posted in the Doc forum in response to this, the idea was brought up by another Beta Tester. And we are NOT about BITCHING about the game.

This is to meet and greet each other. Share concerns. And just to say that we are here. That's all.

We want to see what we can do to help improve the game, just like every Beta Tester out there did, just like Moraj did.

This location is a Memorial, not a cemetary. It's like gathering at the Washington Monument, or the Lincoln Memorial because these are icons that stand for ideals that are agreeable, it's not like walking on Washington or Lincoln's grave.

We are just trying to get some attention.

Issues will be pushed once the devs start to notice us.

I don't think the purpose of it is to 'bitch' about the game. Just a get together that needed someplace out of the way to meet at. If you've taken the time to read through the thread this idea started in you'll find a surprising lack of 'bitching'. The whole point is demonstrate, hopefully, that a large group of people would like an answer to the questions they asked us to gather up.

How many protests have taken place at Lincoln's memorial, the Vietnam Wall, etc, etc. Why would this be a show of disrespect?

Wow....Super_Kermit, get over yourself.

In addition to what Zarlor already said about a memorial and not a cemetary, it is also a fictional place for a fictional character. Just a freakin game. Don't you think the reason we are there is more important than a fictional memorial place?

If you don't know how to start up a Test Center Account.

Go tothe installed directory of the game and you will find a short cut. "Star Wars Galaxies Test" double click that and install the test center version of SWG. Now it takes a little bit so start early and BE THERE!
