This is quite interesting.... It seems that people fall into two groups:

1) Paralyze ---> Debuff ---> DOT

2) Paralyze ---> Debuff ---> Repeat Until Jedi Is Weak ---> DOT

My major questions are

a) How do u determine that a jedi is weak? (Action and mind or do u have a general idea of their force)

b) If it is by force, then how do u wear down the Jedi? What are you doing that is draining their force? (I ask this because as a former MBH MR I wasn't really able to drain people's force but I was able to outbeat their heals sometimes, but it would seem thatthe major way to drain a Jedi's force is to remain w/in powers and saber throw range)

c) For people who DOT after debuffing, how do u keep up the debuffs while they are DOT'ed if you cant use paralyze?

Thanks!

Toy with them, ADV. crit then keep yourself healed. be patient, have them make the first move. If you see that their action/mind is low, spam strong hits, they wont have choice but to heal. (drain!), paralyze again if he's still there.. debuff, run away (if he saber throw or power.. he still has lots of force) KD is pretty handy too, and can be done pretty often. (anyone can tell me how long you must wait before reapllying KD? I'd say around 30 seconds but I'm not sure.)

Basically, you have to make the fight last a long time. We can outlast them EASY.

it changed with the new patch, 30 sec timer before reaply, it is also called a "stealth nerf", cuz it's been affected by the "daze effect" nerf (smuggler), without any notice it was also affecting MCM.

It affected paralyze because paralyze IS a Daze effect. a Daze effect is a special ability that stops all action from the target(these moves are paralyze, concussion shot....and I believe panic shot.

And this is no worse than the KD timer. its actually better because they recieve a visual buff that we can see when it wears off to reapply.

The success of a jedi in battle is based directly on how fast he/she can recover from your initial attack and begin to do damage on the attacker. That being said, paralyze slows down that initial recovery time. Jedi being balanced is based on them not being able to do all their neat little tricks over the long haul. But once they are in the meat of their abilities, you are toast. Do not just assume that you paralyze,debuff,dot. Even with all those on, he can prob still out heal you and last a very long time. Always be prepared to run if needed. And most of this will not be all that effetive (unless your an uber pvp'er) when he has good ls and maybe some powers.
