I think I see what is happening here. A 1000 tick poison is using a spider venom loot drop (and a decently strong one at that, although not a pre-nerf one). However, the poison cure is not using a loot drop (I think it is called Janta's blood...). This means that the poison is disproportionately stronger than the equivalent poison cure, and the poison cure can not cure it.

So, the obvious solution would be to use a janta's blood for your poison and disease cures (like that will happen, as compared to using it in buffs...). (Yes, that was meant to be sarcastic.)

Read my post again. I said that the CM's poisons were weak; Ididn't said a word about your cures. Also it's fairly obvious that Iwas refering to the spider venom loot when I said, "venom enhanced poison".

Making the case that Doctors should have to use Janta Blood cures to counteract Spider Venom poisonis ludacriss. The spider venom has a known drop point which is camped around the clock on my server. Whereas looting Janta Blood is a rare and random drop. This is the reason thatJanta Bloodis so much more expensive because it is only available in limited quantities. On the other handcampers are looting 20 (?) spider venoms a day in the caves.

Until we actually hear from a Doctor who has made a Cure poison C with Janta Blood and tested it, it's pretty pointless to speculate how it would perform.

In summary, any CM armed with spider venom poisonfor twoor more stats can easily out poison a Doctors ability to cure himself. The devs apparently intended it this way since no one has heard a peep otherwise out of them except theircop-out cannedresponse "Will be addressed in the Combat Revamp".

And if you have read my subsequent posts, and my comment "(Yes, that was meant to be sarcastic.)", you will see I agree that it is unreasonable to expect all doctors to run around with Janta Blood poison cures to counter the possibility of a spider venom poison. If fact, if you look at the very next post, you will see I suggested that Texxie talk to the the doctor corespondent in regards to this situation/potentialproblem.

There is no need to assume that just because I am a combat medic, everything I say must be to the effect of "combat medic must be superior in all ways to everything else, how dare you presume to weaken us". I was merely trying to point out the possible oversight of the devs, as oppose to say the situation was okay as it stood.
