Thread: Diseasing Corpses right or wrong?
Glad to hear you all agree. Unfortunately some CM like Tsunamikata seem to think there is nothing wrong with it.
I'm glad that most combat medics dont agree with him or his tactics.
Clone wars is wrong, they need to put back insurance terminals to stop Clone wars.
Then they can make it so dieases do not carry over; for now thats all there is stopping clone wars from happing.

Once it is fixed, it's a moot point.
So, stop feeding the troll.

Not sure I understand your post. Based on your post just above mine, it would seem you agree it should be fixed as well. What was different about your post and mine, other than mine was much more brief?
Problem solved, simply make sure all DOTs are removed at cloning. I don't understand the discussion really. All DOTs should continue to function until you clone, then they should all be wiped. During beta, the devs stated that CMs disease was ment to cause down time.
Someone said that they (the devs)called DOTing a corpse an exploit. Could someone point me to that statement. Not by a CSR as that doesn't count (sorry). I truly belive in honorable combat. But if a DOT is cleared on clone, then the player can decide how much wound damage they are willing to take before accepting the clone.
Do you consider incap and clone the same thing?
If the person is rezed, then the DOT should still be active until cured or it wears off.
Its totaly wrong like all the other bugs in the game and should be fixed.
Again, it's clear that a DOT should not be present when the clone occurs, so how is it bad to DOT a corpse? They determine how much damage they continue to take by choosing to accept the clone or not.
Also, because a CSR said it was an exploit doesn't make it one. I know they work very hard, but they are not the most informed people when it comes to these things. I've had several CSRs tell me blatantly false things and then disagree between themselves on matters. So, you claimed a dev said it was a exploit. I would like to see that. The only way I could see them thinking it was one is because there is a bug that doesn't wipe the DOT on clone.
Simply dying shouldn't remove a DOT..... only cloning, timing out, or curing should remove one.
I seriously can not believe that any of the people in here complaining about diseasing a corpse is a Master CM. If you are not a Master CM, then you should not comment on things till you know in this forum.
Sure, I can AOE mind disease a group of people for 450 a tick. Usually, I can live through the fire fight to kill them all off and through skill, clean out a party. What I do not want however is TEF. Because other classes do not have any way of Stopping TEF, I do not care. Diseasing a corpse or poisoning a corpse is not an exploit.
I have read all the dev posts, and have been doing searches on it. You showing a screenshot of this action means nothing. Because they only told you, it is not an official post.
I kick ass, I am feared, I am a Master Combat Medic. I use all of the tools available to me to spread terror, disease, and poison as effectively as I can. If I can clear out a town by myself, then fine. That is how I play, if you are a combat medic and do not want to, then fine, don't but do not yell at me for doing so. You do not hear me complain about how fair it is for a Combat Medic to be able to launch an Area STIM C from 65m and heal everyone within 25m of the original target when a Doctor has to be within 7m to heal? Master Combat Medic is the greatest class in my opinion. We can Heal better than anyone, Do awesome dmg in PVP and with careful planning, we can do awesome in PVE as well.
I am a Master Combat Medic, Master Doctor, and Marksman Carbine 4, and I love being me.
