Advanced Bacta Shot is granted at Master Doctor.

Actually in the sense you mean it they are both getting nerfed. I have one char thats Master Doc and 4240 Medic so that I can use Bacta Toss, and that novice version of Bacta Toss currently heals for more damage thanAdvanced Bacta Jab does which I getin the Master Doc box. After this "fix" though Im pretty sure it wont be healing for ~1300 anymore.
Differentiating the power of the various heals makes sense, but I'm more concerned about the aggro characteristics.
As far as I've observed, the CM heals (toss and spray) are the only ones that generate significant aggro, so I tend to only use them in emergencies in PvE. Now my decent heals will all generate high aggro - which makes me a worse medic in combat than a doc. Doesn't seem quite right to me.
I'm sure I'll learn to live with it, this isn't a whine per se - just something to think about.

Now this is a very valid question, and something that will hopefully come to light in testing. Its a very legitimate concern that seems to be a function of how hate is generated rather than those 2 abilities generating more (range and area effect causing hate to be generated on creatures not sufficiently aggroed by full combatants). It would certainly seem reasonable to expect less hate now that the healing power has gone down simpy out of fairness.

I do elect for improved bacta shot to be given to MCM because basically we barely heal better than CM 4000 dabblers.... The docs got there reward why do we have to heal about the same as a dabbler..... and dont say that we get other abilities at MCM other than heals, because that's bs! Doc get area cures at MDoc and a rez but they will be better at healing than Doc Dabblers... y not us?
Thats what they are doing. A 4000 CM will NOT be able to heal nearly as good as a Master Combat Medic, because they will lack Advanced Bacta Toss (which is in MCM, i think, only familiar with doc tree). Currently, a 4000 CM heals as if they had Advanced Bacta Toss, when they only have improved. This patch will make it so they no longer heal at the advanced level, instead heal at the Improved level.
The same holds true for Doctor. Currently a 4000 Doc heals like 50-100 Points less than a Master Doc, because improved bacta shot uses the values for advanced bacta shot, which it shouldn't. Instead, improved bacta shot will now heal less, so a 4000 doc will probably heal about 200-300 less with improved bacta shot than a Master Doc will. The same holds true for bacta jab, (which IMO is doc's most useful skill, can sustain constant bacta jab every 4 sec for more than 4 minutes).
And... your current MCM And Master Doc heals will not change at all. They will remain the same. The only thing that is changing is those who are dabblers, their heals are getting nerfed (or rather, Corrected), because they are too close to master Doc's/Cm's healing value right now.

Yeah but spray and toss already suck for heals compared to shot.
Not really. Bacta Spray is very useful in group PvP.
That you stop moving when doing a Bacta Toss is a bit annoying though.

Edit- I see your point, did a little research and i see that your advanced heals aren't in your master Box. Thats crap. So yeah, you were correct when you said that Docs getting a fix, not CM. CM dabblers will still heal almost as good as master because master gets a little more HE, nothing else.
