Thread: So you want to nerf poisons...here are the conditions.
no master docs take about 3 applications to cure a level C poison...
2 if its an area one
merrin
advanced comp or basic?
usually takes the master docs i face 3 applications to put out my level C poison...
Using advanced comps and 950+ components. I heal my own single poison (533 damage per tick) in 2 applications.
that makes sense then thinking in terms like that
there should be no reason advanced component cure poison C cant cure a level C poison in one application....
again perfect example of how underpowered the cure line in doctor is...
how many normal cure applications does it take to cuere a single line C?
I don't think it is underpowered, the advanced components on my server are not so great right now. Ingredients for them are like 75 OQ. If I could get a hold of decent components for the Cure Poisons, I bet I could cure a Poison C totally in one app. Another thing you need to consider in the single poison vs single cure comparison is that a Poison does not tick on application, in fact in a pvp situation it looks like this:
You have been poisoned!
You apply poison cure to yourself.
Poison tick for 110.
You apply poison to target .
Poison tick for 110.
You apply poison to target (his cure is negated).
Poison tick for 110.
Target incaps.
You apply poison cure to yourself.
The poison has subsided.
In PvP between combat medics, whoever poisons first loses, unless they have range advantage or bad luck with resists. Whoever has the timer accessible to cure the first tick of poison wins because by the time the attacker can cure himself after tossing a poison, it has already ticked once for 500+ while his has only ticked for 110. Also, no one right now expects their target to be cured of poison or expect to be poisoned multiple times in return.
Single Cure vs AE Poison is a different story, however.
No journey is wasted for fault of destination. Any journey is wasted for failure to enjoy the trip.
/em blows Merrin a kiss. Hope you're behaving, sugar.
