Chemical warfare is realy that effective. In reality you can kill thousands of people with chemical weapons for very little money at very small risk to yourself. That's why most countries in the world don't want anyone to use them and a lot of the poorer countries that can't afford nuclear weapons have them. I find it haed to believe that comabt medics are too powerful in this game after all of the NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) training I have had to go through in the military. There are realy some things out there that are ten times as deadly as anything in game and chemical warfare experts should be able to do lots of damage with chemical warfare.Yes I am a comabt medic, I also happen to think that rifles and carbines should have a longer range than pistols and be a bit more accurate and that carbines should be the fastest weapons in the game instead of pistols andI'm also a pistoleer.

A lot of the CM's posting here don't seem to even play their profession. CM's that don't know that Poison+Disease incaps, don't know that being in combat/any states prevent meditation, etc.

The ones that say "Kill the CM" in response to AE bombing seem pretty noobish too. Have they never PvP'd? Once the AE is off, it doesn't matter if the CM dies, the poison still ticks to rape the people. You drag the CM back, revive & repeat. You can't prevent a player from cloning, and you can't prevent them from being dragged/healed revived.

I have pvp'ed a bit... and usually it's kill the CM then heal everyone. Sure they can be revived.. clones etc... but that's gonna take time.

Additionally not grouping real close together is a big help. It will take a CM a minute or two to individually apply poison/disease to each person.... and if no one bunches up together a AOE pack will do them no good.

When the guild goes into battle if we know we are going up against a CM we will make it a point not to bunch up, we will spread ourselves out.. so no single CM comes in and wipes us out.

Why don't you try shutting down an opposing base (the only real goal in the current GCW)and report back on the effectiveness of you're "not grouping close together" suggestion in practice.

I did know that the poison+disease = incapped my posting was more to the fact that diseases are about 1/4 the dps or wps of a poison..so if a CM throws a poison (at a group) and then has enough time to get off a disease (since everyone that wasn't fighting will auto target the cm) there is still a long enuf time for that cm to be killed 10x over before the first person is incapped.

And when we roll in with 4 CM's, what happens? AE disease & poison hit, then they hit again, and again, and again.

Go do some real PvP. Yes, I get targeted, but I'm no stupid. I find the closest enemy, target them, run in range, throw & run out. I'm in weapons range of 1 enemy for a very short period, then I'm back under cover, and an ally CM is throwing instead. Even if I get killed, it doesn't matter. A doc targets me, drags corpse, revives, buffs, 60 seconds later, I'm back out.

I obviously play the class smarter than you do, and as a result, I'm more effective. To the CM's blathering about not bunching together, come back & post intelligently when you've done some GCW base attacking/defending.

I wouldn't attack other people for not "posting intelligently" when you are guilty of the same thing...

Putting all these ridiculous 'what ifs' aside (you have a doc drag, they have a doc cure, whatever)...Bottom Line, if CM is so overpowered, go take on a master Combat Profession...just one, and let me know the end result of your battle...you'll lose unless you are backed up by combat skills.

The fact is, you are only 'winning' these battles by:

- Your teammates

- Superior Tactics

- Your enemies ridiculous lack of intelligence and/ora skilled Doc (do you even have any idea how quick your CM DoTs can be cured?)

You don't play smarter than anyone here...you just like to think you do.

Post with more tact, or have your opinions treated with disrespect they deserve kid.

Lets put it this way...
As I am right now, (Rifleman/CH) I can still 1v1 any Combat Medic, even if I have mind poison on. Try shooting back, it is really not that hard.

>>-)Find or place a structure that's about 60-70 m away from the base that gives you line of sight cover.
>>-)Target a rebel in the doorway of the base, or one in the base courtyard. Run to 64m spamming the ae poison pack, then run back to cover. If people leave the base to chase you, your teammates + the poison will quickly drop them. (If there is no rebel outside the base, use a spy/sleeper agent to provide you with an AE target)
>>-)Assuming they have a few docs, they start to cure. Docs can only cure so fast, and due to lag, half the docs take 1 tick of 500 mind damage. Eventually, they'll cure everyone, and be fairly low on mind. Don't even let that happen.
>>-)5 seconds later, go back, & repeat with a disease pack. Run back to cover.
>>-)Run back out & do it again with a poison pack again.

The last people that tried this with us got poisoned themselves. Why cant the opposing force follow you and get poisoned. They had5 mcms. We had2 (me and another). Guess what ... I held off all those cms by myself.

We just kept poisoning and curing each other. So there you have it. If you have some focus food and muon you can cure poison with 50 mind so mind cost gets regened almost immediatly.

Poison has Zero affect on anyone that is a reasonabl level doc. Zero. You waste your mind if you poison a doctor. Period. There is no poison that I can't 1 shot cure with an advanced component cure poison. Eat some focus food. So it comes down to if the other side has docs, with food, a advanced cure poison made, and a /cure poison /cure disease self button. They can rome around freely and shoot u when you come out. Whereas if you friends come to help you, they get poisoned. Not to mention if there are any turrets etc.

Get you

Jeez my submit button keeps going off for some reason. In any case I would say that it comes down to whatever side has the most prepared doc/other ranged class since cms neutralize each other.
