Ritak honestly I dont think you are correct in your assumption...

maby of the skills u say like drag incap and firstaid arent even unique to CM...they are shared by both medic, CM and doctor. Currently the pace of PvP is so fast that heals have become a non issue...Even without mind damage, damage in PvP is so juiced that its impossible to heal. Case and point...BH flame shot 350 damage and 80 wounds every 15 secs for 2 mins? try to keep up with that...Panicshot 800+ damage + attack delay, shoots in a cone so its an area effect and prevents ne1 in the area from attacking back...eyeshot (800+ mind damage at the range and speed of a pistol), underhanded shot knockdown(guess what u go prone u cant heal), pistoleer melee defense? Stoppingshot? i can name u a ton of moves that will do more damage and faster than urranged stim rate thanyou can heal at master CM.

Fact is ur logic is sound, but in reality it doesnt work that way...In PvE, I am a god and can keep a grp of 10 or more fully healed...

fact is if you look at the requirements for CM we are required to get ranged support...that is a full 29 skill points that we could use elsewhere such as specing in a weapon skill..but the fact is we need to spend 29 points on a combat skill for a class that does little to provide any combat ability. So if you image of the Cm hold true, remove the ranged support requirement and just take Dots out of the CM line. IN that case, I would then go beyond my pistol specialist and become a pistoleer and spam pistol melee defense...

you talk about using a rifle as a CM, but in effect uve just decided not to PvP as a CM but as a rifleman with CM abilities and no the other way around...first of allu go prone u cant heal...so much for ur entire CM line of skills...

problem is PvP is so turbo charged right now that healing is meaningless. Either pump the Cm class to be able to go with the current pace which can only be done by making CM dots incredibly powerful or tone down all the damage in PvP to about 10% of what it is now. I dont even wanna get into the issue of player caused bleeds either...

fact is that we pay too many skill points for too little power...if u look at the other classes...they are all more powerful then use excluding maybe the commando class which is as broken as we are...

remember we are the 3rd most skill point intensive class in the game...smugglers use far less skill points then we do...and they will destroy use hands down everytime...

kaleyn not really...damage in PvP is out of control...just look at bleeds...if im /firstaiding im not healing...and bleeds do far more damage than dots do...

im not even talking mind damage...

and buffs are the only solution right now but they are so broken its not even funny...

fact is healing from non-LOS should be powerful but its not...

It sounds like you've been involved in more mass-zerg PvP than smaller group fights. The tactical ability of a group to spread out beyond a range of 6m is key to fights in certain areas. The reason is exactly because PvP hits so hard, you can't move through an area to secure it and guarantee always being within 6m of your group. You really think a Doctor is a more effective PvP healer than a Combat Medic? Drop your healing speed and stop using any ranged stims and get back to me on that...
