I ran into someone last night who one of my guildmates was triple-incap'd by. The conversation went something like this...

Me "At least you found some decency and haven't been triple-incap griefing people tonight."

XXX Refers you to the to the FAQ. "It's not griefing, it's called decay."

Me "Decay, which the devs have publicly stated is not supposed to happen with PvP combat at all. It's a known bug and using it on purpose is griefing."

XXX "Well, maybe it'll teach you all a lesson."

Now, I'd never dealt with this person before last night. She killed me once and was acting so superior (yes, quite a challenge... I'm a Master ID, Marksman 0 0 4 4). I'm not sure what lesson I was meant to learn, unless it's about her moral character.

This bug DOES need to be fixed because until it does, people like "XXX" in the above example are going to severely tarnish the CM profession... beyond what nerf-sayers yell and scream about.

It isnt just CMs doing this. I have seen other professions incap players in waiting for shuttles only to stand and wait for them to regen back and stand (still hurt badly) and incap them again...they do this until they triple incap and clone and suffer decay. It is a sad thing to behold. Makes you wonder what it going on in someones head to intentionally grief others...

The triple Incap BS is just CM's, BH's use it on Jedi marks. Triple Incap them sending them to clone center yet STILL keep the mission..........

But, it has now come to my attention (Thanks in part to a griefing guild on my server) that it's possible to "bypass" the PVP "NO DECAY" rule by using CM Poison to "triple incap" you and if nobody shoots or db's you, guess what? You get decay. Certain CM's are using this as the only way to kill people so that they suffer decay (which really stinks when you save a month or two for PVP armor.)


I feel that this should be pushed up as one of the major issues that the CM Correspondant pushes for a fix. CM's are pretty unpopular right now, and a bug like this being fixed is in EVERYONE's best interest.

So you are saying that only CM's can three incap? Way too show your true hatred my friend. Anybody can three incap a person and give them decay. JUST ASK LFD ON BRIA! WOOHOO!. F'in griefers.

I use to agree with that, then we got spider venom. When you can toss an area poison and have it tick for upwards of 1000 points per tick there is no way a group of even 4 docs is gonna be able to cure everyone else in their group before the poison starts causing incaps, your only going to bring more nerf cries down on CMs. Disease/poison incap should be left in but like someone said have the disease removed after the first or second incap. If I go down to a CM's poison/disease before I kill him then he should be able to DB me BUT if I kill that CM first I shouldnt have to wait through 3 incaps and be helpless because he lived a whole 6 seconds to get a poison/disease off on me.
