and would've ended the whole thing flat....no one tripped off us cms till the infamous 1200+ tick area poisons...then we were the I win button. When people discovered it and by using bugged bile...I have seen poisons with 4700 charges that never go down with 620 effective....add a gtef'er in the mix and you have cries of nerf! If the devs actually played the game they woulda seel that if they deleted all venom from the game the crying woulda stopped immediately.

As far as cms crying...**edit**...the temploiters cried the whole time till we got nerfed.....I will enjoy having the whiners whine about something else. I am tired of being hated because the 13 year olds who die by poison feel they shouldn't die. When this goes live, the temploiters will regain the PvP crown and they will be hated again and CM will be the new broken profession along with commando and creature handler

heh funny you should mention commandos. i passed thru their forums today and they will also be hit by the upcoming changes, not nearly as hard as us but hit again just the same. This also affects pikeman pretty severly in pvp. Actually it affects every prof. that uses dot weapons. hmm i can think of one chap with a 700 point mind tick cdef thats gonna cry lol. so its back to melee or rifleman for pvp,

hmm maybe all the combat professions here gloating are right. After all the fotm's leave this could be a nice little group to be in. we shall see.

He is pointing out the misconception that all players have about CMs. Not all CMs want to destroy PVP. He has proven time and time again that CM healing abilities are not sufficient to justify the point cost. He has done so in a civil manner citing facts. It helps to let those who are not blinded by their own greed see the point of view for the CMs. You are the troll trust me that much is apparent.

Area Heals? Doesn't cut it.

Ranged Heals? Doesn't cut it.

Mind Heals? Doesn't cut it.

Poison and disease in it's current form? You guessed it. Doesn't cut it.

How is that balanced, constructive or positive?

Who does that help and how?

Who is the troll?

ah, you would be the troll.

his comment is constructive... we want the profession to justify the investment. that is not crying, whining or shouting. it is very simple, so i am sure even you can understand it. we want to do the work, we want to have the skill set and tools that let us do the work. we want to have a reasonable impact, whether we are healing or hurting. none of that is unreasonable.

no, wait, i saw this game... "pong" i think it was called. it was really easy to understand! maybe you could make swg more like pong! think of it! fast paced action! iconic characters! MORE FUN!

You're talking about the man, I'm talking about his comment.

It's right here, it's his post.

If you think it's construcive, fine,
I don't agree with that.

Does that make me 'a troll'?

Well apparently for you, yes.

Great, like I care.
You can call me a troll if you want.
I think it is very constructive to call all the people that disagree with you a troll.

It sure will make things better.

CM doesn't worth the skill points to you?
Great you said it.
He said it about a hundred time.
How about try to make it worth them without ruining other people fun?
Is that trolling?
If yes, then great, I'll be glad to be a troll.

Apolgize for trolling in yourr forum guys but:

My solution for all this heartache is to leave the resist buffs with docs.. we're a support class whose main advantage is pre and post combat, plus were good for soloing so the resists suit us fiine. They won't be easy to make and there is still a chance that the Dot gets through, especially if you are throwing area DoTs at a lot of peeps multiple times.

However: the area cures should be a CMs dominion. They should be ranged and have area effects just like your area stims. That way a CM is an even bigger assett in pvp and each side in group combat is going to need at least 1. The CMs will need to be medics as well as aggressors and will play the vital role they should but their influence will be duly mitigated by the resist buffs. The resists will help lower the 'be all and end all' quality of poisons.

The ability to cure and infect en masse will ensure CM is worth all the skill points and hardship collecting resources.

Docs will be happy.. we get new buffs to make and we're already in a pretty good state. So what if we have to rely on CMs for components, its about time the CMs had a money spinner.

doh sorry tabbed too far.

It will be interesting to see where all the concentrated fire will be now what riflemen and tkm wont have to worry aboutCMs anymore. If doctors can buff against dots, i doubt they will want to venture into the line of fire (combat medics wil have no reason to go to the front lines.) I believe they will now be the primary targets of riflemen or any other ranged profession like tkm (i know that, technically, they are not ranged but everyone has been knocked down from bazaar distances).

CM's that decide to hold onto their profession cuz it took so long to finally get the 2 extra exp points and have storage houses full of the hard to find resources will be comforted by the fact they will be able to live much longer, since killing them isnt really necessary anymore, except to get the pvp points and maybe some fp.

The 2000 dr/master rifleman can now spent his Dr skll points on tkmand the with the Dr/TKM can drop Dr and pickup rifleman

The only thing that may save cm is if the doctors cures cost as much in mind as it costs CM's to throw them and make the cures fit the poisons, no way should a novice doctor be able to cure a MCM top of the line poison, but that would require some thought and we cant have that.

All you guys that are finally getting what you have been screaming for may have to live with the unintended consequences. When when was the last time you saw a hot fix do more good than damage.

I dont know if you noticed but there are a lot of people leaving this game because their profession has been changed into something they were never warned about. This game may one day become great pvp battle, but i doubt it cuz someone will always have the upper hand, then the bellyaching will begin, and the game will be dumbed down again.

yep.

and killing cm's will not be necessary, because our effect will be minimal until all the docs are dead.

Master Rifleman and Master Combat Medic are no longer FOtM, that was a while ago.

New FOtM is Fencer/TKA/Pikeman.

Pikeman is over, DoT was their main PvP weapon too.

Actually, current FoTM include Doc for quite a while.

The only FoTM that don't have Doc are the one that have CM.
And thos now have chnged to Doc only. End of CM FoTM.
