How about requiring doctors to be dependant on CMs to make components for regular cures and area cures?


How about just giving CMs the area cures period?

Hmm, lesse...you have a Lunge attack at Novice that hits at 15m, and one at Master that hits at 20m. That's over 60 feet. With your bare hands.

I can foresee someone throwing 84m (which is actually possible) way before I can see someone getting gobsmacked at 60 feet with a sword or bare hands. THAT is ridiculous.

I agree that CM's are grossly and laughably overpowered. Can someone please answer me when bio-terrorism became a central Star Wars theme anyway?! Throwing diseases and poisons 80m through buildings that incap you in 3 ticks!! Anyone who defends this cheesy profession is crazy. It has completely destroyed the credibility of PvP battles making base raids especially a useless waste of time - CM throws 400 tick (ugh!) mind poison through a wall from 80m away and the battle within 3-5 minutes is over. stupid, stupid, stupid. If the devs can't see how retarded and damaging this is to the strategy and enjoyment of battle then this game has no chance of sustaining loyal combatant based customers. I am in favor of having the whole useless profession nerfed or be medic-only. Poison shouldn't be the most powerful and highest ranged weapon on the game. Please DEVS! Use logic and get rid of this ultra-cheesy PvP funkiller!! I beg of you. Some of us actually enjoy FIGHTING.

Seems to me there are two types of Combat meds.


(1) Type 1: Doesn't have access to the strong poweful poisons, focusses more on healing others and is struggling in the game to get by.


(2) Type 2: Has access to strong poisons, enough money to make lots of them, doesn't play a primarily healing role and is devasting at PVE, PVP and knows it.


Its the type 2 player that makes people who aren't Cm think the profession needs revamping, b/c there are plenty of type 2 out there. This is hard if you are a type 1... but then, its just as frustrating to be a pistoleer using a cdef. And if you don't have the top level adv. component poisons, you're effectively using a poison that is about as useful as a cdef... I've met many cm's who are type 2 ... they have no problem making money and lots off it from loot, missions or whatever.


So how do you bring balance to a profession split like that both within and aganst oher classes?
