It's not a Self-Heal ability. And it causes wounds to the CMs mind to use it.


Might want to learn about the profession you're trying to nerf before crying nerf...

Now think of it on a shot by shot basis: Poison lasts for what, 1 minute? 2 mins? I've never actually timed it. 60 seconds x 1250 dps=75,000 damage from 1 attack.

Show me an attack from another class that can deal that much damage. Don't pull out the DPS argument unless you're prepared to take it full circle.

I KNOW that I add a tremendous amount of damage to a raid. I can run up to 80m, throw, hit 10-20 people, run out. Even though I'm in safety, I'm still dealing really good damage. Even if you kill me, that damage still ticks.

It's why we're so broken in base defense. Clone at the center, go into the base that's been taken. Target an enemy. /declare, toss area poison, then area disease from high damage, lower range packs. Get killed. Clone. Come back to see 80% of the people at 1 mind, or incapped. The TK's & docs make it out, and a few people that get cured. Those that got cured generally took a tick of the poison or two, and have little to no mind. You roll in with 5-10 buffed people, and the base is yours again. They have a lot of docs curing? Send 2-3 CM's to do it in waves. Nobody can handle getting AE poisoned & diseased every 30 seconds non stop. With a cloning centre next to a base & 3 CM's, you can do that. Heh, and there's not a **edit** thing you can do to stop it.

As for the guy wanting 80m packs: Go make them. It's not especially hard. Decent resources+12 points=good packs. This was made less than 2 weeks ago, when our last run was done. I haven't done any since, but I haven't heard anything about it being nerfed since then.

Potency 122, Effectiveness 214, Range 40 (80m throw range at master), Area effected, 28, CM use 90.

For single targets, I'm using 112 Potency, 239 Eff, 44 Range (88m throw) 59 Med use.

This last run was really good. Stop acting like over 65m is hard to make though.

Exactly. It's gotten to the point where it's **edit**ing rediculous to fight CM's. They don't even bother healing their own teammates, just bombing poison on you from outside your attack range. God help you if you aren't a TKA or a Doctor.


DOT = damage over TIME


Getting killed from full health in 16 seconds is not over time.Even worse, CM's have nothing to lose. If you die, so what. You are packing poison, a weapon and clothes. Nothing that decays. You hit 100% of the time, you can attack from over 80m away, 15-20m of AE, DOT's that take 2 ticks to kill most players. Seems fair to me.

You focking moron, can you not read? you know what just piss off you freaking loser, this really is a waste of time. The devs will change this, once everyone runs to become combat medic so they can exploit too. A COMBAT MEDIC CAN HEAL THE MIND OF ANOTHER COMBAT MEDIC. This is the answer I have for combat medics that complain when I get to do 2000 dmg on a players head in one hit again. For they tell me "you can bring doctors". Well you can bring combat medics.

Maybe you should learn how to read yourself. Mindheal causes WOUNDS to the CM using it. This automatically makes it a last ditch/final resort ability. It isn't something you use all the time anytime you get a bit of damage.


You might want to take into account all the factors before spouting off.

I am so tired of TKM and Rifleman and every other crying that Combat Medics are over powered!! God enough. I invested 169 skill points to Master this profession it should be pretty powerfull. Rifleman and Tka it takes only 92 skill points to Master. I can not with a poison alone incap and kill someone, Can a rifleman use just those skills earned as a Master,Incapp and and Kill? can a TKM? You bet your sweet bantha butter they can. Can i dizzy someone? Can I delay them? No. Can i do 2000 pts of damage with one shot? no. If I poison you run away from fight u wont die. Just disengage from the fight and fine a doc then your good to go.

I'm the guy wrecking you with AE's, not the guy worried about stopping them. When our PA hits a GCW fight, we go out with no fewer than 4 CM's, usually more. It's simple fact. You can't deal with 4-6 guys throwing AE's from outside of combat range. You chase us, we run away. As you chase, your mind is ticking away. You can cure it, and we'll just AE again. Then our riflemen target your docs & take your mind out, & no more curing for you.

Certain classes are overpowered, and we're abusing it. Watching you guys sit here & say you're not overpowered, and there's good counters is rediculous. It gets stupid after a while. Saying to wait for the balancing coming in 4 months is not acceptable. The GCW is pretty dead right now, because every fight turns into a bloody CM war on both sides.

And hell, we do it too. 80m AE's that aren't resisted that incap people, and can't be healed. Hell yeah we're going to abuse it too.

Read what devs said - not gonna happen. We should get 75% boost of PvE damage though.

So go SHOP and buy one. 2000dmg reduced 75% for PvP is 400 dmg BTW, 3 times MORE then CM.

I don't think there is nerf big enough in SWG to help you, I suggest going back to chess.





stop comparing your selves to rifles there overpowered too but they can't do AOE mind, in addition there mind ham is per shot, not per 20 ticks at 125 dps. Also is i panic shot the rifle after he shoots me twice the mind dmg stops not so with cm's. There are no effective anti-cm tactics
