Is this some sort of weak argument about nerfing CMs based on RL stereotyping?


We have about the same chance of poison grendades being invented that can be thrown 90m as.....somebody inventing a laser rifle


This thread was fun at first, but is fastly approaching another 'nerf cm' thread.


If you don't like an aspect of SWG because it does not relate to what you stereotype in RL...guess what...it's a FANTASY and or science FICTION game.

But seriously... the mix up that makes people think we are Medics and the Medics are I don't know what is rather irritating.

ok, how about this... Grenades randomly hit everything in the blast zone(possible misses on a per target basis) now CM meds supposedly always hit targets, though I'm guess thing thats more due to these 125% potencies that I've been seeing. but how exactly are the CM's "cloud of deadly viruses"only targeting the enemy? wouldn't they affect all inside the cloud? well atleast all without Bio warfare equipment.

and regarding the combat medic being weak, my step father is a medic in SEAL team 3 out in San Diego. and I wouldn't call him tiny at all.. but then again he's a SEAL(commando first, medic if all goes wrong) now head over to the army base and check out the field medics there.. most are scrawny 130-140 lb guys (medic first, soldier if all goes wrong).. and thenormal grunts drag the wounded back to the medic. I dated a few... hehe I should know..


also, field stabilizer, first responder, emercengy technician... and the drag command... thats all in Medic.. and a commando or any other soldier could easily do this andqualify as "soldier first", but then you get into "Combat Medic" and get into Toxicologist and Chemical warfare specialist which I would have to argue are more lab based professions than in the dirt with a gun in your hand profession. and would qual for "medic first" Don't take it too personally but thats how I see it. not trying to flame or anything
