If you're pure combat you unlock six branches from Combat Prowress and Enhanced Reflexes.
Avoid doing crafting and medical quests.
Pure combat doesn't need bonuses to crafting anyways. (even though Luck might be intresting... provided it works)

You have to be a Master Medic in order to even run this quest. To do it solo, you have to either have Doctor Crafting IV for the full 10 experimentation points OR have a Doctor friend there helping you out.
I have an MCM/MD on Live, so the quest was cake for me.
Edit: If anyone thinks it would be beneficial, I can write up a how-to for this later.

Ah yes, but I responded to the sligthly off tangent remark about how diffrent types of characters are supposed to take on the questing system. Combat people get other nifty rewards.

but in doing so you miss out on the nifty experimentation necklace which was the original purpose of this post..

There is one on the game guides forum. It just needs to be cleaned up some more

Can anyone post a screenshot of the necklace. I might get it just for looks as I already spent a fortune on cm crafting tapes.

*thinks it would be beneficial.. seeing as my post was chaotic and random in my sleep deprived comatose state after sticking around that village ALL day helping people with that quest

ahh.. i see what you're saying.. but it didn't address the tangent i was going with.. as persuasion is the branch that reduces faction costs on faction perks..
i have a gut feeling that more combat classes would be able to use this to their advantage than non-combatants such as entertainers and medics..
cutting those faction base costs in half (if what i'd read in the TC forums and jedi forums) of those large faction bases and such is something i can see many combatants wanting to do.. which is why i was curious to the 'necessity' of master medic skill to acquire the quest..
i sure hope the luck branch doesn't require master entertainer to play some new instrument for people.. i'll be seriously bent if that's the case

Ah, I see what you mean. I was just confusing stuff with my reply.
But, as for the persuation and luch branches:
Scout Xp trades at 8 to 1 for Enhanced Senses XP.
And if it's something most combat related characters (excepting Combat Medics, who have a beneficial deal with medical XP allready) can collect in droves it is scouting XP.
My current templatecap out scouting at 30k Xp (4040, but 4000 or 0040 would do the same) giving 3750 XP per pop. Now, that might seem like very little, but just mask scent and do a few harvesting rounds around the village and you'll see you can easily cap up the XP quite a few times per buff. One round of patrol coupled with attacking and harvesting one nest of kamuriths give about 10k Scout XP. So, if I were to dedicate myself I could easily collect over a hundred K scouting XP during one buff (this is a guess of course but I can't say it's unreasonable)
Of course, there is still an absurd ammount of XP needed to be grinded, but both healers and combatants have a fair shot at it.

ahh didn't notice that scout XP went to senses.. seeing as i haven't had any in a LONG time..
still 'irks' me though that one needs to be master medic to pick up this quest.. then needs support of master doc to complete it..
i think i can see a reason for it though.. someone might have said..
'if we require people to be a master medic for the persuasion branch.. then there are less medics/Cms complaining aobut 400+ stim b's being used by novice medics'
*shrug

If you are on Ahazi, you can find thecures for this quest for sale at my Moenia shop. Empty your inventory before you come - it will take 93 slots to complete the quest (15 patients).
