On the other hand, if you arealone, competing with a group for looting rights, you'll never win. If it is a bunch of ungrouped individuals, I have heard that damage to any pool counts towards looting rights, so you'll want to poison all three pools with you're most powerful stuff and then start blasting away with your highest DPS rifle attack, regardless of the pool it hits, and still keeping in mind the considerations I mentioned above regarding the cost/benefit of throwing the lower powered poisons and diseases.

Hmm... You mean stack C-poison on all three pools? That's not possible. =\

You do have a point. For a non-speed capped rifleman, mind poison may be better.

I do think you underestimate the time poisons last though. My C poisons last for 5 minutes, for a total of 37 ticks (around 24000 damage), the A poisons last around 2 minutes (I think, may have to get back to you on that one) for roughly 3500 damage.

Also, when combined with disease, poisons do more damage over time, because of the battle fatigue it causes (I haven't tested this myself though). Let's just say the poison doesn't hurt the effort.

I wasn't referring to the duration of the poison, but how long the K would last when being attacked by 5 riflemen, as an example. If it takes 2 minutes for the group to take it down, then the first poison you apply will tick for a total of 2 minutes, the second one for 115 seconds, the third for 110 seconds, and so on.

And I'm not sure, but I don't think MOBs have BF. Again, I could be wrong on this.

I would throw diseases on the sucker. As Bs and Cs at the highest level you can get. They will each add to the BF which will in turn make your poisons and diseases hit much harder. That being said it might not be worth it if you are in a group that will be taking the thing down quickly.

If you were on Chimaera, you could buy some of my PvE Kits for Combat Medics.

As a rifleman, you will want to use strafe shot on Krayts, for maximum damage, not headshot. Strafe shot hits health more often than not, so the PvE kits I make contain:

-Health single poison A
-Health single poison B
-Health single poison C
-Health area poison A
-Health area poison B
-Health area poison C
-Health single disease C
-Health area disease C

These are all stackable on a single target, for a total of 2500 damage per tick or so. You can stack all kinds of poison, but only one area and one single disease. So get the resources and start crafting. Or get someone to make them for you. Good luck!

WRONG!!!
Headshot3 yields more DPS than stafeshot2 on a single pool.

I've never seen so many noobs on a single thread. Either noobs, or just plain retarded.

Ok, i regularly krayt hunt with a small group of 4 or so people. My groups are usually, me MCM/Rifleman, Commando, Tank/Melee, and a doc/melee.

Our fights start by me bombing the krayt with a single health poison to pull it onto the tank. Then the tank taunts, and by this time i've hit area health poison, and single health disease. Commando lays major burns on the krayts health, while tank/usually fencer bleeds and health hits over and over. Usually only takes about 5 mins to take a krayt down this way.

Before they nerfed bleeds i used to go hunt krayts with myself and my brother who was a master tka/master swordsman/master brawler/fencer defense. I would mind poison/mind area poison/mind disease, and then we would just bleed the krayt and head hit it into submission. The 2 of us doing this stacking bleeds, poisons, diseases, and headhitting could take down canyons in approximately 3-5 minutes. They are supposedly un-nerfing commandos burns so if you go out take a commando, a tank, and yourself, and krayts will fall like flies.

Headshot isa better choice if your group is made up of swordsmen and riflemen.

And please do try to avoid insulting people. Your tender age is not an excuse.

MOBs do have BF and that is why i personal open up my fights against dragons with disease for all stats and then jut keep following up with mind disease and poisoins. The diseases start ticking for well over 10k after a while.

In a large group this wouldnt be benifital but when i am fighting with my DOC/CM alt and my Rifleman/MCH (damn gimped wook) it takes me long enough to kill them even with full speed reductoin that the disease does signficant damage (70k to each bar on a 350k dragon depending on how long i can keep the rifleman up and spaming while i heal and marshal the pets with the CM)
