Although I think everyone has a right to voice an opinion, I object to anyone totally hijacking discussions and forums. Elenora does this through volume. If she cannot get others to agree with her position, she will just use sheer quantity of responses to dominate the discussion. Look at here forum post total.The popular term for this type of behavior is "forum troll".

Just the fact that we are having this discussion shows the negative effects of such behavior. I, for one, rarely visit this forum anymore because I am sick of reading her posts in every single thread.

I also agree she is negatively impacting our profession with her curent vendetta to nerf us.

Just ignore her and play the game. Not all classes were supposed to be even and everyone has it's advantages and disadvantages and everyone has the option to become any class, so the game is fair and unbiased.

I mean from all the posting and time she devotes to posting about how "she" feels the CM profession should be does she even have time to play the game?

I'll be honest I have not read every one of her posts...mainly becasue I don't have time and after the first 20 or so over a week period I got tired of her...best way I could put it is attitude. I have nothing against you Elenora but honestly...what are you? A you a Doctor or are you a Combat Medic? Pick one and then focus on that profession...because unlike you I have a number of skills in the pistoleer tree but I don't post in that forum or even read it because I don't consider myself a pistoleer...I consider myself a Combat Medic.

And as for your poisons...well you are entitled to your opinion that they are overpowered but as for 2 of the needed resources needed for the advanced components for poisons just appeared for the first time in weeks so I haven't had a chance to make a decent poison yet that was even worth employing incombat.

Mind poisons and the LOS factor I haven't even used yet because I consider them cheap tactics...I'd much rather see you face to face, slap a health poison on you, a bleed, and blast away with my pistol and avoid the whole "You dirty reb with your cheap tactics" flaming tells. But hey, you wanna post LOS exploits you go right ahead but don't assume we all play that way.

But let me stress that I'm notjumping on any witch-hunt band-wagon...just excercising my right to my opinion the same as anyone else.

jesus, if 1/2 of u spent as much time thinking up suggestions to problems in the class as u do typing S T F U elenora...i bet we would have 10x the number ofpossible solutions to current issues than we do...

i held the top score on my old guildforum with 7% of all posts, >3.000 posts total, having about twice as much as the next one on the list (the guy running the page kept a statistic just for fun)

I am just getting to master medic and I am a bit unsure what's what with CM or Doctor. But I can tell you one of the reasons so many people are starting to take up the medic trades is because the unarmed and other melee classes are so screwed up. If you don't want to go master marksman or creature handler then your choices are prety limited. I took up medic so that I coudl do something in a group that was even close to useful. I bet lots of the new medics are in the same boat.

you know if you vote one star on all her posts, you make her more noticeable. If i'm scrolling fast through a forum and see a star on the side i usually stop. So go right ahead and make her posts show up more...way to be an idiot. Go flame elsewhere.

In the time since you posted this, her post count has gone up another 12! By the time you read this, I am sure it will be well beyond that even.

Lets talk about LOS.

Im in a group of 20 people in a town (not the 3 man group of Elenora). We fight 20 other guys, mostly lazy imps *g, who can fight (not like the newbies other CM killed here, who couldnt use theyre skills).

A group cant always stay together, so mostly i stick on somebody and apply poison and heal with ranged and fire all the same time. Just now, i can make my job.

How would it be with LOS required?

Elenora says, it would be fairer, cause blasters requires LOS, too. Now i tell you. My dot has a range of 40m. That means in a laggy town 30m in enemy fire, apply, resists and success, 30m out of enemy fire, 60m in enemy fire to make a DB (and i cant heal myself the whole time, cause i dont want to have to wait for the timer, i come in range for my poisons, and for the way out, the timer is on again, cause of the poison)

If i need LOS for this, im dead, i make 15m in to apply.

And another point. If we get a LOS for our poison i tell you, they will make an LOS for ranged stims, too -cause they are devs. HOW could i heal a group of 20 in a town with ranged stims, with a range of 40-60, if i need LOS for these?! I wouldnt heal at all cause it will always tell me - your out of sight to your target. THIS is what you say. If it comes, many more will surrender their CM skills. MasterMedic for selfheal is enough to survive a battle.

For the first time I agree with Elenora. It is overpowered and unbalanced. The dots need to be adjusted.

Combat Medics are incredibly powerful in PVP. We are PVP Gods.

Wanna know why? Cause we suck PVE.

Lets all disease the Dark Jedi Master! While our friends actually damage it. Disease is WORTHLESS OUTSIDE OF PVP. USELESS.

Lets all use crappy poison while our friends actually kill stuff! Or, lets area poison everything in a giant nest and get aggroed to death!

Combat medics are almost exclusively PVP. I understand a nerf is likely coming, but then where will we be? I'm Master Combat Medic/Doctor and as of right now, my Doctor skills are MUCH more useful than my CM skills, since I do not PVP a whole lot. We WILL get nerfed unless somebody wakes up and realizes CMs are exclusively PVP, and then I will go carbineer/doctor. LOS is good, because you will be executed quickly once everyone realizes what you have done. Strong poison is good, because you will be executed quickly once everyone realizes what you have done. ETC. Anyway, you should all drop CM and become WEAPONSMITHS.
