Actually you have 18 skill points left over. This is still obly enough to get to level 4 in a marksman skill. You will not have enough for anything above level 1 in a brawler skill because novice brawler will cost you 15 skill points.

Here are the most common templates with MCM/MD:

Pistols-4, Rifles-1, Carbine-1

Rifles-4, Carbine-1, Pistol-1

Carbine-4, Rifles-1, Pistol-1

Pistols-3, Rifle-3

Switch between Novice Artisan or Novice Scout or Novice Brawler depending on whether you are surveying, hunting, or PvPing.

You do? Hmm... I must be thinking of MCM-MRifles. My mistake, sorry about that.

Hello everyone I'm an up and coming Combat Medic, already Mastered Doc. My question is, once I master CM and having already mastered Doctor, will I have enough skill points left over for a decent fighting profession? If I'm counting correctly it looks as if I'll only have enough for the 4th block in for example one-hand swords. Will it be possible to move up into Novice Fencer?

Thanks a ton

This has probably already been answered, so please don't flame me.

My RL friend had a pre pub 9 unlock Jedi, he took 4 months off and came back to play. When he logged on there was the point system, giving him all 250 skill points to use on whatever he pleased, in a matter of 2 mins he was TKM, Master Pistoleer, Padawan with Novice Force wielder and Novice Lightsaber. My dilemma is this, if pre pub 9 chars are able to use skill points for both novice and elite professions as well as Jedi skills points, are we going to have the same option? can I retain TKM and be a padawan once I fill up my 6 FS branches?

Yes, you can retain TKM as long as you have the skill points for them. Jedi skill boxes cost skill points now, just like any other profession. So as youget more Jediskill boxes, you will eventually have to drop TKM skills. If you want to keep TKM, just stop picking up Jedi skills when you reach the 250 cap.

Well you will have 66 Skill Points left over after Mastering WS and Pikes. I'd Master Brawler too for Intimidate 2 and that leaves you with 18 points then i'd probably do the first 3 boxes in Meditation from TKA.

Only problem with this is that it leaves 0 skill points for the FS skills and no Artisan Merchant skills to sell your Weapons.

Check out this site Character Builder

What i'd do would be to get Novice Merchant, Novice Medic and master WS & Pike. That leaves 17 sp to spend.

I have a similar build on my alt my main being a MPike/Ranger/TKA by build is as follows.

MTailor/MFencer/TKA 3 0 0 4/Novice merchant okI could do TKA 4 0 0 3 for wound healing but i do quite well both in buisness/PvP/PvE. So replacing MFencer/MTailor with you starting build of MPike/MWS should do pretty well too and the points from the 0 0 0 X tree of TK could be cashed in for FS skills.

Not at all. You can fit a base novice skill in with Knight, but that's it.

I've searched through all the Force Sensitive and Jedi FAQ and I still don't have an answer to my question, so I thought I'd ask my fellow FS buddies. Sorry if this is a silly question.

I was thinking about going 4000 Commando like many other to help with my grind. I'm currently Master Pistoleer/Master Swordsman. To do this, I'd need to give up one of those two. I like the power Swordsman has so I'd have to drop Pistols. I'm struggling with this idea because while Pistols isn't a hard hitting profession, I like the theory behind it (plus, it's my starter profession as well as the first one I mastered so I'm kinda nostalgic). Anyways...down to my question. I was looking at Allakazham's skill calculator today and they have Jedi Initiate listed as 250 skill point cost. Is this true? Does that mean when I get Jedi and unlock my other character that I have to give up all of my existing skills on my Jedi character? This doesn't bother me, but I'd like to know because if that's true, I'll go ahead and go 4000 Commando now since I'll have to drop Pistols anyways.

If someone could explain what skill points are needed beyond FS I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance guys.

It's outdated, back in the day when you unlocked the alt would be the jedi and took up 250sp.

go here... it's more accurate
