I do not know what you are talking about, but currently I can heal at ranges up to 60 Meters away. Maybe instead of uping Efficiency you should look at uping charges. Playing around with it I have found that if you up the charges on the Stim you can heal greater distances.

I believe what he is talking about in regards to Doctors is our ability to craft highly expiremented advanced components. To get CM stims/poisons/diseases to anadvanced level, you are going to need advanced components crafted with our high level of expirementation.

BTW, use a grinding macro and craft ABECs. Fastest way to get through the crafting line. And one more thing...enhancing for 2k reaps 1k XP. Revive for @ 800-1000. So, being a master doctor first will allow you to become a master combat medic faster than a combat medic trying to become a master doctor.

Does that make sense to anyone?

I'm middling in my CM right now (slow grind of both my Combat and Medical XP).

I'm 3/1/3/4 and for Experience have been building Area Bs with Advanced parts (Built by a doctor because they get more experiment points). My average area "B" with 8 Experimentation points is base 24m with a 17m effective radius with 30 Charges, 600/600 Healing.

The Medical XP comes fast and furious in pitched battles. On Endor we were battling this nest of spiders and all I did was keep area healing my group of 8 people. at one point we had 7 spiders out attacking and the groups health was dropping insane amounts. I just kept throwing my heals, targeting a central player and hitting everybody. I was averaging well over 1500 medical XP per heal. In a 2 hour hunt I smacked back about 36k in medical XP.

I can only imagine when we hit master.

Yes the medical exp is the easiest and fastest exp but itis also 3/4 of the requirement for master. If you only craft enoughstims and poisonsfor you then its going to be a long slow road to master crafting. It sucks but grinding in practice mode is the fastest way butbe prepared to lose alot in resources.

Becoming a Master Combat medic is a pretty tough thing to get. And yeah being a novice all your stuff seems to be like the CDEF Pistol. Totally useless. But the poisons and disease do get strong so stay in the class. Plus it gives people a reason to not invade the medical center when your tefed <eg>

Combat medic is a good class but can be a lot better. Even though one of our advanced parts does not work and the C diseases require 700 med use. There are still a lot of things we can do as a character when we reach master combat medic. we are the clerics of the star wars universe in a sense. We are both combative and defensive and we are always the one that turns that tide of battle with an area C healing everyone back up to full while the other side is still attacking.

In the PvP aspecti enjoyselecting a player at 51m tossing a mind poison and stand there while they run at me and type

1,

2.

and on three they drop <g>

All i did was stand there and count the seconds till the poison went active. So being a combat medic is funny and it is a good class which will get a lot better when the developers get off their butts and finally get around to fixing and improving this elite class. Till then well have fun and just enjoy yourself.

Also i think the reason doctors can experiment on the medical components for our things is a total glitch. Why make master in combat medic if you cant experiment on your stuff. Course the remedy of this is. Have a Master Doctor make the schematic for it and just plug it into factories. Just give him or her the materials.

i dunno where your getting the low heals and short ranges, must be your stims ..

novice combat medic is a pain , it's only starting to be funny at the middle of the tree, with area B and ranged C

master CM is the only way to compete with medics stims D, the main problem is finding people to heal to reach master, since only pets are fighting

just try the skills :

ranged healing distance is a whole tree ... for distance ( +5m /box )

healing effectiveness increases the effect of the healsa lot ( 1.5x-2x )

healing speed reduces wait from 5 to 3 seconds

I don't bother using any of the low level stims or posion since they are a waste of time. All the useful things that a CM can do are at the master level.
