I did some minor editing on this today, removing some old now non-relevant questions, and updating the issues page.


I will be doing a major overhaul this weekend, adding and organizing new questions, and adding some new content to the schematic database (more info on stats, pictures, and a new resource waypoint listing for the chilastra server) and other stuff.


Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

Im just tired of not being able to really do any damage in PvE. By the time my poison ticks twice, the commandos/TKA's have already killed the thing, so i feel pretty useless. The only thing I ever find myself doing is throwing area stims in a group, or running from planet to planet on harvester runs. Maybe if poisons get a big boost in the future, i'll come back. But im getting bored with just throwing area sitms all the time.

this is what im doing it seems to work well, go master pistoleer and just take 2 trees up in CM that way you can poision all u want and then step back and hold your own pistoleer is close to best pvp skill with all the defences you can get close and dodge most before you finish them with fanshot. this is what has done me well anyone have a better way i would love to hear.

i am master cm and i have a major prob...


my prob is that i have searched all the planets of cimaera server and didn't find all the resources that are needed... also there are no cms that sell their poisons (good ones) and if there at least i haven't find them...

A new question to add... because I'm looking for the answer.


How much potency is 'enough'? I just made master, and I've been making the various poisons and diseases, but how much do I really need. Will 100 stick most of the time? Should I make some 150's for PvP or for creatures like krayts and kimogilas? If there's a post that details the various effects of experimentation please direct me to it. Thanks!

Personally, I find that any potency over 95 works well.

I have a question.. Not sure whom to write to, so please answer if you know...


I am a CM, with 4-4-0-4 learned.. I just earned the ability to Mind Heal, but I've tried it to no avail.. Do I need to be in a med ctr or cantina to do this? I tried it a few times on someone out in the field, and it failed to heal his mind.. but it DID damage my own mind! Is this a bug, or am I just doing something wrong?

This got me too...check it...


Mind heal is for mind DAMAGE...not wounds....so you can only heal mind if they got white in the mind bar...is the way to look at it......they still need a dancer if they have mind wounds....hope that helps

I'd like something more in depth on the crafting aspects of the CM. I've looked at the resource DB and all the schematics but for those of us new to the game, it's hard to pinpoint exactly what options there are. For instance, which stats on the various resources are the most important, what items can we substitute (and for which part of the recipe, stuff like the new poison or Rancor drops). I'm also interested in a CM Vendors point of view, which stims sells best and for how much (generally speaking). Do they make PvE and PvP quality stims, stuff like that.


Would really like an experienced CM crafter/vendor to give me some feedback here. I'm starting out and want to run a well stocked vendor. It's daunting the list of things I need to stock up on for production runs. Some tips on what to get first etc would be a godsend.
