Uhh.. no. Agree or not, threads like that need to stand on their own, IMHO. I didn't sticky Ele's thread in the first place and that's the ONLY reasonI would be loath to take it down. As I said, I would have prefered a thread like hers, or the one you pointed out, to stand up on thier own merits.

Stuff we NEED to get feedback on, likes issues lists, or important news information (like Dev responses or MAYBE relavent patch notes) are the kinds of things I, peronally, would feel warrant being stickied. Floating those other threads are more like pushing a personal opinion or agenda. That really doesn't sit well with me, even if it is for an idea to be debated, primarily because it's the guy with the sticky ability saying "Hey, this issue is more important than any of the other issues on this forum and by stickying it I am implying I agree with its premise." That's what it says to me whenI see it, at least. Add in the fact that the less stuff that is forced on folks as being stuck at the top the better. (I'd drop the stupid Correspondent request thread, if aMod hadn't put it up there.)
