For most things, we don't especially need or want lower-level technical answers, but here, I think it'd be warranted and mutually useful. Many of us with some technical database knowledge are frankly baffled that an Oracle database system with requirements (insofar as we're able to divine them) that seem fairly modest compared to many everyday business applications seems to be so horrendously troublesome.
Guess I'll start...a question that's been asked a few times, and deserves an answers in one form or another....
What is the Devs 'Vision' for Combat Medics?
2) Now that vendors will have a limited number of items for sale, will you remove the 30 day time limit on sales, and if no why not?
3) Will a container with contents count as one item when put up for sale or will it count for the total number of items?
4) Will there be a possibility that the new vendor cap will be flexible, a bit like the CL of the CH. So that instead of having two vendors with 150 items, a merchant could have 1 vendor with 100 items and one with 200, or just one with 300? And if no, then why not?

2. Why can't Iget backthe clothes I put on my vendor. I'd like to dress them in something nice, but I need to move my tent for a city revamp and want the clothes back
3. Why can't I buy a larger tent? I don't mind multiple lots, just need more space!
4. Why can't I sell resources per unit? I have 500k units of a resource and don't want to spend 2 hrs splitting it into 10k chunks
5. Why are all the human female vendors so damned ugly? Took me about 100 tries to find one that didn't look like my mom
6. Why can't I register my vendor as an "misc equipment" vendor? The listings are real limited
7. Why can't I get the red 3PO vendor to adbark?
8. Why can't I grant admin of one of my vendors to a non merchant?
9. Why can't people use one of my vendors like a bazaar? Would save me time with my city's public vendor buying offers and reselling.
10. Why can't I find all those socks I lost in the dryer?
11. Why can't I /move forward /move back a vendor before I initialize it? I hate having to destoy a vendor just cos I don't like it's placement. See #5 above
12. How can I stop ad barking vendors from facing a direction other than what I want? In a tent, they follow people outside the tent, and sometimes I walk in and they are facing the tent wall.
13. Why can't I use %tt in adbarking?
14. Why can't I get an Image Designer to ID to my vendors?

That's why I'd like to see a technical elaboration on that, so the devs can show us what our faulty assumptions are and shut people like me up....

I'll second that.
The debate if Dev thought CM were there to primarily heal their groupmates or if CM are there to throw poison/disease and cause damage and healing is secondary has been biggest issue and I am getting sick of reading posts about it.
I think the problem is our pre-conception of Combat Medic in real life as opposed(or not) to what Dev had in mind for this game.
Answer to this would remove about 50% of negative post one way or other.

We can pass the question along but I'll bet you 10,000 credits that the answer has the word "proprietary" in it.
