If jedi want to get rid of the 1 point debuff thats fine. Just be sure to make it a MIND reduction while you're at it. The speed and cost for jedi to apply those debuffs is no where near what it costs to apply all of the corresponding CM debuffs.

Every action that EVERY combat template both jedi and non-jedi use "a little" MIND. That little bit is no a worry to jedi or the other templates. It is a worry to healers who are wholly dependent on that nice slow regenerating pool.
Jedi debuffs last alot longer but are based off of a super fast regenerating bar (ACTION). Everything based off of the action bar is short lived. That is true of every profession. Anything based off of MIND is usually longer based.
there is so much mis-information on this thread, it's beyond repair
paralize = 15 secs, large mind cost Stasis = 40 secs, marginal force and sac costs
CM debuffs = 2 mins
Jedi debuffs = 30 secs, except sap which lasts 60 secs (still less)
The big question, why we comparing Jedi with CM, because the devs have given elites and jedi the same powers, except cloak and A.Incap
but, CM have better healing, no force cost, and get armor break protection
by the way, there is no equivalent to Traumatize for Jedi, the most powerful debuff in the game
This is why Jedi "whine"...5 months of grinding and can't beat a damn medic
