get in a group, lvl 80 if you can, stand clear of any aggro, put away your weapon and use bacta spray (make sure nothing is targeted, you should get 4000-6000 med xp per creature killed. I got 450k med xp in two hours.

go take some non-aggro non-herd con-2 and tank them without shooting them, have some caf and ahrisa handy for the mind pool, then just keep poison fire and thyroid on them, when they hit "o" from that, pop them with a weak hit with a pistol, just enough to kill them. You'll get about 95% the XP in medical and the other 5 in weapon.

This chews up armor and makes you a BFbunny, but works fine.

CM is one of the professions I tested heavily on TC3p

Are you saying take out cl 2 mobs? Unless you're cl 3, that won't do you much good. If you want to grind CM 1xp at a time, it will work, I suppose...3 million meatlumps later: Master CM!

If I'm misunderstanding you, please correct me.

i think he means blue con creatures ( these are usually 1 or 2 levels below our combat level ) , so easy to kill with decent xp .

Well, seeing as I had a Bio Engineer character that I had the pre=thought to Master Medic, I respecd her to be Novice Combat Medic. I've not really done well with medical stuff before so thought it would be something cool. Took some Marksman as well for defense and have a droid available to defend me. Noticed the following while I was working on Combat Medic today.

1. If you heal someone in combat and you are not grouped you do not get xp. But you do get faction points and have them agro you. Go figure.

2. If you solo fight and heal yourself you get med xp (obviously best to fight mobs that are 10 levels or nearer to your level. With a droid assisting my Level 19 char could just about defeat a Level 11 or 12 Cupa and Scyk. Not tested on higher yet but seeing as alone they incapped me I'll settle for that for now.

3. If you group with someone and you heal them while they are fighting you get med xp.

I have found through practice that I seemed to survive longer if I position my droid (stay) within viewing distance of myself and set him on guard (gd). I then position myself to around 25m from my group member (seems to be the maximum distance a Bacta Toss works at Novice CM. 15m will allow Bacta Spray to work. Also note that viewing distance is also a factor so when they move move so that they are always in visual contact but don't leave the viewing area of your droid. It took several incaps and deaths for me to realise this but after 4 (Level 65) missions I had somehow managed 26k of med experience which kinda surprised me.

Fortunately I had a Droid Engineer on my payroll so I commissioned her to make a combat droid that could heal/poison. Tested with this and like before CU droids boost healing ability and I would guess the poisoning ability. I'm sure the DEs will be more busy now that we need Medical Combat droids and Scout Combat droids.

I assume they made it only possible to get xp in combat to keep people from exploiting getting xp from tumblers.

Understandable....

I have to admit now, I was really worried that it would be almost impossible to gain medical xp, but it is not nearly as bad as I thought. I started of yesterday as a master cm and only a 0100 rifleman. Went to Dant with a group of four and took on a lair of pickets. I would fight and heal simultaneously and by the time we had finished off the one lair, I had enough medical xp to almost go master medic again (I also maxed out on scout skills). I then went and bought all those boxes and the respeced them into my rifle trees. After just two missions like that, I had my rifleman all the way up to 4213! Of course, hehe, being on 4x Bloodfin helped also!

Also, as a group of a MCM/RM, Mcommando/smuggler, MRM/Carbineer, and BH/pistoleer, we had no troubles from the mobs. Had a blast!
