I already thought we had a TEF from using DOTs...shows you what I know.

While I'm disappointed that we didn't get simple things like typos fixed, I'm not completely unhappy with the patch. I'm thrilled Commando got some love. They needed it horribly. I would much rather see the DEVs concentrating on fixing classes that are severely borked than adding things like 'terrain negotiation' to our tree. Yes, I'd love to see more CM 'love', but really, we aren't as busted as others and I'll patiently wait so long as they are concentrating on fixing those far worse off then ourselves.

Hydro and others:

Grow up. I remember a time when I sounded like you do. I was 6 years old and my mom but my older brother some new shoes because he needed them. I didn't need new shoes but I saw he got something and I wanted something too. So I cried and threw a fit, my Mom bopped me in the rear and eventualy I learned I was being quite childish.

You sound the same way with your posts, you and nearly everyone else who posts on these boards. I don't have any problem with people giving suggestions on what changes they would like to see with the class. I don't mind people pointing out broken areas that may exist with our class, or ways to improve our class in a meaningfull way. But most of the time it's just crying and complaining and empty threats because some other class is "perceived" to be better at doing something than you are.

All the ideas expressed on this board might be good ones but you cannot honestly expect everything to get done at the same time. The game is getting better, if you don't think so that's fine with me. If you want to start a Commando go ahead. It's not an easy profession to advance in but it got some much needed improvments today. The best part about this game is that it allows you to chage your career and your path in the game world. If you want to quit go ahead. But please out of respect for the rest of us who do like this profession don't give us the image of whining 6 year olds. Express your opinions in a more constructive and less ofensive manner. There are a great many players who don't read these boards because it is full of negativity and useless rants and threats. Don't add to it there's enough already.

This Evolution of the Knockdown nerf is probably the biggest step in the right direction(Fire knockdown is still gonna keep you on your back for 30+ Seconds tho).

Basicly it works like this:

-You get knocked down

- The Person who Knocked you down can't do anything for 5 seconds, roughly the same time it takes you to get up

- You can't be knocked down for another 30 seconds(25 seconds adjusted), if you can't toss a poison in a25 second window you have bigger problems then being knocked down.

- Knockdown is more utility oriented now

The only serious threat is BH's...Still...They can still seem to put you down for 65m,keep you down indefinitly(unless i missed where a Dizzy nerf was implemented / adressed) and pound you with unhealable eye shots that do an insane amount of damage.

I'm Very happy to see this patch, Commando's need All this Love and then Some still. Rangers needed their love too, i think. Holo Pretty much told us nothing was happening for us today...As for the Typo's in the crafting code, i imagine that can get hot fixed as soon as they track it down (it might not be as simple as some people try to make it sound) So no worries about that, its an obvious bug and will get adressed eventualy. I Did, However, expect them to throw us a bone with the terain negotiation and burt run effeciency in the support line...It was kind of implied...But hey, no big deal, commandos have been waiting for 2 months so they can solo baby Gnorts reliably (Yes, as a commando, i have fallen victim to a Gnort Deathblow)

People just need to understand that everything can't all be fixed at once...There is simply too much to be done to cram it all in one patch period. If that approach is used things are just prone to getting Much more screwed up then they already were

I can't see how this is a surprise, Holo announced two weeks ago that healers were getting nothing in this patch:

Actually, I think this was the quote for the last 'big patch' that came out that was going to fix so much. I was kind of hoping that since we had been ignored the last patch, there would be something in this patch. And looking ahead on the in-development and test center notes, I see they are not working on medical issues again.

Let's recap....

No fixes last patch

New Dr. titles and TEF for poisons this patch (woo hoo)

CM correspondant resigned a few weeks ago because of a lack of feedback

A few weeks after the CM correspondant resigned we still do not have any feedback

The lack of communication, and lack of fixing typoes is getting frustrating. Commandos need a serious make over? Way over due! Droid engineers? Man, I really hope you guys get a serious 'commando' makeover next, you really need it! I would love toplay Star Wars instead of Pet Wars!

But some of these issues have been around in Beta. Since the programmers are so busy, maybe have one of the artists take a look at the code and fix a few typoes? You know, a little bone instead of just seeing the nerf blaster?

Please?

You would think so but this bug has been around since beta. It's either very low priority or not as easy to fix as people think.

Yes we have been mycroft and fighting tooth and nail, but unfortunately the game released a bit early.

Well we keep fighting the good fight I was a master medic pre launch but CM was soo broke then I chose not to go that way.

The GCW needs serious attention. If you agree with that also please post a reply on this thread

I think CH should be reduced big time. I think the droid makers should be made better. Star wars is about ships, droids, and alot of other technology. Creatures should be VERY rear. Seems like Jabba was like the only person to have a creature. and he's rich.

But everyone has droids in star wars.

Anyways about combat medic. whats this typo you guys are talking about? Is it something that happens high up in the combat medic tree?

Yeah, I gotta admit the game is alot more like Pokemon in space than anythng else.

As for the type, it's higher up, yes. It's on the Ranged Stim E schematic where insted of asking for 3 identical BECs from a factory crate, it asks for 13.

No, that post is from a week after the last big patch, in which we received several major fixes including area effects working for the first time and poisons becoming useful. Here are the patch notes from 8/13:

I'm pretty sure that "Remaining correspondent issues" is the only response we'll be getting to our first correspondent report. I'm not saying this is good, I'm just saying I wouldn't expect a new correspondent or any more responses until the new Assistant Community Manager is hired.

Personally im just REALLY pissed we didnt get out support terrain negotiation they promised....

I am completely out of points to advance in CM... Unless I can unspec Scout completely I cannot go any further..

I was counting on this change... i find it rediculous that you need a new base skill plus 4 bars in that calss to run at any kind of speed anywhere....

every class should be able to get terrain negot in thier advanced lines...
