The only time i think that I would use the Disease packs would be on particular nasty opponents who decide to be entirely un-Star Wars like and decide to call us every name in the book you might here in a Tarentino movie.

Please guys---save the disease packs to use only as an anti-griefing tool!

actualy diseases are a tactical tool for large scale PvP battles.

i enjoyed every minute of using them last night on people coming from Bestine to recapture the imperial outpost we had taken controll of.

Disease is a useful attack only in long-term battles. Short fights everyone incaps within one or two ticks of disease, which isn't much at all.

Also Diseases are the ultimate greifing tool if used properly. Land Mind disease at the right time and the target is permanently incapped until a CSR comes and rescues him...say a week or so later. There is one other way to break permanent incap, but there are not many Squad Leaders around, you might have better luck with the CSR.

CM diseases are 100% griefing tools.

They can be applied while you're incapped. They don't go away when you get DBd. The best ones can do over 300 wounds per tick. They last over 15 minutes before they wear off and you can even begin to heal your 1000s of wounds.

They are headed for a big nerf, no doubt.

My understanding is that disease does stop when you are Death Blown. Although I haven't dueled anyone to test it. Anyone know for sure?

Uh.. yeah. I know for sure that it doesn't. As I posted above, I had a buddy DB me twice (so 3 total DBs) and it did nothing to effect the disease.

So when you clone, the disease stays? How about when you get your wounds healed, will they go back down? I'm assuming the answer to both is yes. If so, that certainly sounds like a bug. I'd read of people suiciding right when they get diseased so they wouldn't get huge wounds. Is this a recent thing?

I usually only use disease if I'm grossly outnumbered and want to make at least one of 'em pay for killing me, so I've never seen the effects after a DB. I'll have to look into that.

No effect should last after you clone. Diseases ticking away until a doc cures them is certainly an exploit, if they left when you cloned, it wouldn't be so bad.

Merrin, might as well post the complete walkthrough on that, i've been reporting that for a long time now and they only made a quick'n dirty fix once. to bad Holo doesn't agree to duels or i would have shown him personaly how it works.

I've been CM diseased once, every day I get put on fire at least once....

U should not be able to apply when incapped, otherwise it's fine, it's designed to end endless tef clone wars.

That is what i meant when i said large scale pvp btw ...

The Clone Wars get very out of control, we as CM's a right, and duty to bring order to such chaos =P

I just wish our uber AE Diseases didn't require 900+ Med Use... However i did experiemnt one down to about 240ish, wonder if it is possible to get one down to 100 with super uber resources?
