alternatively if they made bacta toss / bacta spray enhancers auto pull from inventory i would be even happier since that would solve our targeting issues .

c) ask for an Advanced Bacta Throw or an Advanced Bacta Spray maybe?

Actually Bacta JAB was the iconic Doc ability but until recently shot had been hitting for alot more. Still though, thats 2 single target heals and a serious heal over time. In addition with the high efficiency, bacta toss while not as powerful as shot is still viable for them as a 35m ranged heal but only costs 5 points extra.
Improved bacta shot isn't that much to ask and doesn't diminish in any way Doctors healing abilities. Infusion by itself is worth its weight in gold.
I must agree, Docs get 2 abilities, bacta jab and bacta infusions, which aren't even in the medic tree! Combat Medics' two iconic abilities, bacta toss and spray, aren't even CM abilities, they are really in the medic ranged healing tree! So Docs truely can toss and spray for decent heals while investing a lot less additional sp into those abilities. CMs on the otherhand have to dump in an additional 34 skills pts just to even get bacta jab! Improved Bacta Shot is not much to ask for as compared to how much healing and healing potentialDoctors have!

Docs cant spray and heal for decent heals since they have the basic version. Same as CMs only having the basic version of bacta shot. And CMs are not meant to be equal healers compared to doctors, CMs sacrifice some healing to get DoTs and Paralyze. Increasing CM heals without taking away DoTs and Paralyze means a CM would be overpowered compared to a doctor.

Docs can get bacta spray and toss for 14 skill points, true. CMs cant get any Doc specials without becoming a Doc dabbler. But Docs also cannot get any CM weapon abilities without becoming a marksman dabbler.
Docs are single-target close-distance healing masters, CMs are ranged and area healing masters. There is no way a single-target healing skill fits into the CM master box. Stick to your iconic heals for your master boxes, which are spray and toss.
HUH, you dont need marksmans for bacta spray and toss... they're in the medic profession. Basic Bacta Jab and Infusion aren't even in the medic profession so this argument isn't valid! Sorry.

My point was Docs can get 1 line of CM prereqs for 14 skill points, yet the second line of CM prereqs will cost them 29 skill points.
CMs can get both Doc prereq lines for 14 skill points each, although one of those lines is of no use to CM.
You say you cant get Doc abilities without dabbling in Doc, I say Docs cannot get any of the CM weapon abilities without dabbling in Marksman. I am not talking about spray and toss, I am talking about the Marksman xxx4 line.
