Probably not, I think you'll only be able to poison/disease health now, unless they take away our ability to poison/disease (though nothing suggests this).
As for the rest of the changes... well, I hope they don't give throwing area/ranged stims, poisons or disease a interruptable warm up timer. That would practically kill our usefulness. Also, I wonder if we're going to keep our heal mind ability, though I doubt the devs would allow that.
Off topic: I wonder what is going to happen to the entertainers, all they have now is battle fatigue healing (which is horribly slow through out the entire entertainer profession) and mind buffing.
Statistics
- Star Wars characters will now have a single hit point bar, called "Health". When health reaches zero, the player is incapacitated.
- Offensive attacks are performed ultimately to damage your opponent’s health statistic in order to win in combat. Players continue to perform special actions in combat that they receive during their character’s advancement. These actions draw from two point pools "Action" and "Mind". You must have the required number of pool points to perform the action.
- There will be no more stat migration capability.
- Players no longer have the so-called "drain" stats: Strength, Quickness, and Focus. They will continue to have the recharge stats "Constitution", "Stamina", and "Willpower", however they will be called "health regeneration rate", "action regeneration rate", and "mind regeneration rate".
- Species differentiation will be defined by different regeneration stats, skill mods, and minor special abilities.
- The only wounds a player can receive are health wounds. All other wound types will be removed from the game.

Whew, thanks. I said it before, as long as CM is still important to my squad I'll be happy. I never use my CM toon outside of my squad, and even then I focus on keeping them alive - if I get an extra moment, then and only then does the poison start to fly.
I guess I'll just go back to wondering to myself what's going to become of my Jedi post-CU. I was always really bad about being a Chicken Little when I was an armorsmith, so I'm keeping my mouth shut about my Jedi and the CU.

Also, for anyone interested you can see an updated version of the character builder that shows the new skillpoint changes only. It does nothing more than that at this moment.

This is true. 'Rage of the Wookies' is just convienent advertisement for the CU/Kashyyk. I won't miss the dot wars myself (minus a few poisons for that mind pool), as I get more enjoyment out of playing squad support and keeping the melee fighters alive. Have we heard anymore about if we'll still be able to poison and what exactly the poison would apply to?

1/ Stims
As I can read, stims can be used without novice medic, and stims level are related to player's level.
What does this mean for CM ? Can we still have area / ranged stims ?
2/ Crafting
It's quite complex now to craft cm stuff for different reason (subs that come from Doc to have 10xp point, resources, all the different poisons / disease, ...).
They announce that the crafting part come from medic .. ??
3/ "regeneration pool"
Can we poison or disease this ?
I'm lost with my CM part with this upgrade
