Well it doesn't really matter if they can prevent it better or not does it? They can DEAL with it. A CM cannot. So yeah, argue with only half or less of the abalities being taken into account and you can make any arguement a winning one, and if someone trys to tell you that you are ignoring a very big factor, call their arguement illogical and continue to steam roll like a blind idiot.

Everything has it's nitch in this world, Docs have theirs, CMs have their, and maybe someday you'll find yours. But for god sakes learn how to debate.

ok look at the stats on a revive pack on it u will see heal mind...

Heal Health Wound 27

Heal Health Damage 61

Heal Action Wound 50

Heal Action Damage 100

Heal Mind Wound 22

Heal Mind Damage 100

looks like it heals mind to me...

sure the targets gotta be dead to use it...but then again you are still healing mind damage arent u? so since doctors can heal mind maybe right now they are better damage healers than we are?

Basically being a CM right now is like being an being stuck with a phillips screwdriver when all the screwed are flatheads...

so if thats not logic and haveenough data and stats for you, want me to come with a screen shot?

I thought we arguing who can heal damage better, other abilities have no impact on that.

First you call me a name then you tell me to learn how to debate.

If doctors can heal mind damage - yes they are better damage healers.
But here:

And in many other threads you (Elenora) say things like:
-----------------------
Currently there is nothing in the game outside those mysterious 3 stat heal Stim As that turn up every now and then, that heals mind damage...

^^^ This is YOUR quote.
So make up your mind: can you or can't you heal mind damage ?

i agree with ur reasoning..the frustrations are understandable...

time and again i have said that master doctor/weapon class is more effective than CM...

devs dont wanna change it, people complain when we say the CM is underpowered...

yet everyday i see more and more people dropping CM for doctor and pistoleer/carbineer...

CM is a dying class and the devs are playing with rancors...

Sorry to hear that, but to each their own I guess. My experience so far is that the ranged heals have been huge lifesavers where I hunt and my PA loves CM's because of them. I believe theres room in game for both Doctors and CM's. As long as you have fun is all that matters.

Sad thing was people used to think that CM was going to the ultimate pvp profession...

a par with BH with more support utility...

now looking back on that...we gotta have a good laugh no?

Revive is a way of healing a person. It heals their damage, believe it or not, it does. I said that the only way you seem to be able to debate is to ignore anything that would seem to go the other way, and then you call those things illogical and continue to steam roll LIKE a blind idiot. This is exactly what you are doing, and it is not calling you a name.

Now you continue to do similar things by qouting out of context and reading into thing in a way they were not meant to. I do not have to read those posts you listed because I know you probably did a similar thing with any other qoutes you have. All things considered a Docter is a better healer because when they slip up, only a matter of time, they can deal with it (slipping up, since every single word is so important to you, I mean something happens they cannot prevent) While a CM cannot, thus why he is a Combat Medic, still a lower form of healing in the hierchy, but he can do it while combating.

Revive is a Damage Heal. What you seem to want to argue is who can prevent the need of revive better. Well neither can so it is a pointless arguement, which is what you have turned this into. Sometimes logic works better than baseless numbers and out of context qoutes. I say it again, either leave because you will obviously do anything to prove to yourself you are correct, or learn how to debate.

It is really sad that people are starting to charge to train for specific skills in the CM or Doc classes. Just because they ae maxed out in thier apprentice point they think that they are now uber smart. tsk tsk just like RL. On a side note if anybody needs training in CM/DOC/PISTOL send me a tell. I dont charge.

I guess i was wrong...tehre are 2 items that heal mind in game

the damage stims that are looted and the revive packs...

so guess what doctors u can heal mind damage...its just very limited and can only be used in the specific case of death...

so maybe as is it now. since unlike CMs who have zero options to heal mind, a doctor has a limited and inefficient method of mind healing...

I don't think people ask for money for training because they feel they are 'smarter' than the other folks. I know I usually ask for a tip when training other CM's because it cost me a lot to train my skills. There were not a lot of CM's around when I was training so I'm just trying to recoop some of my own training costs. I see absolutely nothing wrong with that.

So far I've only run into one person that has a problem with it. He wanted a medic skill trained and normally I wouldn't ask for money to train a base profession. However, he invited me to a team before even asking if I could train and then was rude in asking. I asked 300 credits and he said no. Fine by me

Fare enough, then docros are indeed superior damage healers.
Perhaps CMs should get revive to balance it out then.

Yes, I have to agree with the original poster. At first, I thought that CM was the best thing since sliced bread, but as my hunting group has gotten more experienced, they rarely ever run anymore. I almost never use ranged heals and even when I do, it's more a matter of convenience than necessity. After watching a master doc that was with us last night keep everyone alive and healthy without breaking a sweat and battle rez the ones that fell, I surrendered CM on the spot. Absolutely no point in using up all of those Skill Points justto be a secondrate healer. Sucks that I could have mastered Doc long ago with what I surrendered, but oh well. That's the way it goes.
