i dont need any warnings, i need some class fixes, which are worth a fix.

more damage, less damage, more damage, less damage.... you can fix this forever and somebody is whining out the opposite.

They are REAL fixes to talk about and not how a master has killed some noobs. An overt imp in moenia and nobody there to kill him/her. i think i'm smiling lets talk about real pvp.

before some days, i db an imp who came to close to the reb hq and was blown by me and the reb npcs after attacking one. should i whine now and tell you, the reb npcs are too strong?! i'm smiling again

Almost forgot... we also need to get good high qual resources and craft/experiment the packs which does cost time and maybe money to do so plus not all packs we create will be so good as others. It may take like 10-20 tries before we make a decent damage poison DoT packs. The limited quantity will prevent us from spamming the poisons cause eventually we wil run out and have to make more...

I want Elenora to figure out the DPS on one of her poisions. She's got enough doctor to probably make the best poisions out there.

I want to compare our poision DPS against other hybrid/elite classes, to see if we're really in line.

I saw some smugglers and pistoleers putting some heavy damage down last night, (post patch). I expect our poision to be on par with their DPS because...

We spend a lot of skill-points to get CM.
Our poisions can be cured by a doctor.
Our poisions take forever to kill someone.

The only good thing about our poisions is no LOS restrictions.

3 negatives one positive. Don't get us nerfed just yet. Let's let the other players complain about us. I haven't heard anyone outside this forum complain about combat medics.

Over on the brawler forum (I think) part of their 5 top priorities was to fix the terrian / lasar blast issues. You know, shooting through hills and some walls. The devs responded with the terrian issues were being addressed. This is something I would VERY much like to see, one for realism, 2 for tactics. Now, I would hope when these changes are made, and the combat engineaccurately reflects terrian this will have an impact on CM stim throwing. I also hope that it in no way effects heals as we do lob them. But This may address the LOS issue with poisons. IMO if you can poison someone, they should be able to shoot you. Also, as far as the whole building thing, there does need to be a check to see if soandso is in the same building as you to apply a poison. If these application, LOS issues are worked out I think damage will fall in line. But perhaps, a poison stim C made with advanced components will be grossly overpowered, but this can simply be fixed by making poisons suffer the 75% PvP reduction too.

What I have yet to see is how diseases are working in PvP. People complain that with a medic, or even self heals with Bs, thismakes peopleunkillableby action and health damage unless they are zerged upon. I think it would be great to health disease someone, reducing their max HPs to a level where they can be easily killed, even with heals, due to their now small pool.

BTW Elenora, if you agree that things are overpowered for the CM right now, why are you openly using this power in PvP? If your such an advocate for the reduction in CMs power, why are you picking off rebels with mind DOTS? It seems odd that the one raising the bannar is also using your cause to PvP. Testing the power is one thing, but killing people over and over seems to be condradicotry to your arguments. All I can say is I wish I had the resorces to make poisons and I'll come challange you in Moenia, but sadly I didn't want to mess with them and it seems Im missing out now.

well that would be like telling the BH class not to use underhand shot or eyeshot or flameshot or smugglers not to use panic shot or pistoleers not to use stopping shot or pistol whip...

Actually i was just doing it for easy fp lol...i got about 350 in 30 mins.

Think is i want a fair and enjoyable pvp system and this is not currently how its working...so I'm asking for the class to be brought in line. Besides im getting all my revenge kills for the tons of KDs, eyeshot flameshots stopping shots pistolwhips i endured pre patch...

I'm just gonna pvp as is now but ask the devs to fix this inbalance for the long term good of the game...

So you are going to pvp for now and get some cheap points (in your opinion) first. Then you are going to report it to nerf your own class?

My gawd. There are enough nerf cries. I cannot believe I actually lived to see the day someone cried nerf on THEIR OWN CLASS. Enough other people will do that. If the devs see someone IN the class doing it they will tend to take it as more credible I would think.

Glad I am only novice and was thinking of going doc. Going to keep that route open now. Are you going to cry nerf on docs now, as I have novice CH and think of Doc too, but I have to give up two. I want to make sure I go a different route so I get nerfed from outside, rather than inside my own class.

So, if you would be so kind, please tell me all the classes that you are going to belong to that you are going to cry nerf? If it's just this one great, I'll move on. I wanted rez anyway.

How long is a tick in SWG? 6 seconds? 4 seconds?

If you attack someone with a poison, do they automatically attack you back?

How long does a poison last?

I have an AOE mind poison C in the making, but it's been a while since I made CM stuff.

Thanks.

Tick is around 6-7 seconds for poison. If you are not subject to the "revenge TEF" bug, all people affected by the poison that are not already in combat will go into auto-defense mode and attack you if you are within range and LoS. Most poisons last long enough to kill off a player, as in 3 incaps.

Do you get faction points for killing someone with a poison?

Are diseased working by the way?

my lvl C mind dot ticks every 8 secs or so until they incap then they seem to slow down considerably, but they last for upwards of 15 min without a cure
