The nerf cries are for the AE poisons, not particulary the singles. It is just way too powerful in its current state. Before I dropped CM, I was able to make 235 effectiveness AE mind poison that was next to never resisted. That being said, 235 effectiveness hits for 470 damage at master.
Anyhow, to your proposal. This would make poison even that much stronger. For example, I am a master doctor. If poison ticks every second, I could literally be chain poisoned(happens now but it is doable) without any chance for survival. Yes I know I can cure just as fast as you can throw, but there is lag time, think time, peace cure time. In a battle, I really doubt I could cure myself in under 1 second unless I was just standing there waiting for it. As it is now, I can get in two cures before poison ticks. If something like this went live, I could never cure anyone but myself because CMs would spam their poison even more than they do now.
Most things in this game have a counter. CMs however do not have an effective one. It should not be forced that when pvping ever 3rd person is a Doctor or atleast has poison heal abilities to be effective. For instance, rifleman/any fighting class's damage is severly affected by blind/stun, or intimidate(TKAs hitting for 80 before armor anyone?) CMs need an effective counter, or their damage reduced. End of story.
You do have a good point with the chain throwing by CMs but that would take massive coordination to accomplish. We are not asking that the damage be imediate but what we want people to notice is that we are not that differant in DPS than most other Combat profesion masters. Right now they are comparing our 600 a tick in PvP to their bleed attack that they do and that isn't fair. If your bleed is there with a Sword you keep hitting with the sword as well so we have to add up total damage done in 10 seconds. Anyway that was a little off subject.

This thread is all about the doctors who have said that their cures don't work most of the time on the first try. I guess that many of them were not using the best resouces available and thus were not making the best possible cures. *bogles my mind* Anyway that thread is good to look at for docs and CMs.

You're not on the same server. There are some servers where the rare CM resources still haven't spawned.
Thats what he said. Adune is a great crafter on the Bria server and I think he realizes that good resources havent spawned on every server yet. The point is on the servers where they have spawned poisons are being thrown 80m with 30 m radii for 400 point damage ticks. Thats insane. And Adune and I are both CMs. But unfortunately we are some of the few that realize the class is bugged, currently overpowered, ruining the game and needs to be fixed pronto.
So you want armor that removes all of your mind? I thought we already had that isn't it called composit?
If you want armor that makes you imune to mind poisons/diseases hrmmm that would be well... realy freaking hard to implement. Just use poison resist clothing.

That would indicate that your poisons would tick( at the 8 second rate)at around 6000-8000 damage. I do not buy it.
And even if you made a mistake in the time, that is using looted components. Not standard, or even close to common, fare.

I feel that the majority of the hate comes from the big hit every 8-40 seconds. Once people understoof that we actually hit for low DPS they wouldn't whine as much.

Good idea. I would also LOVE for DOT, with the name of the person that dealt it, toshow up in the combat tab.
That tab shows everyone else's damage but ours and I think Commando flame damage.
