Damn man, this is a FREAKING AWESOME idea! I mean it, man. To me, I would love to see the damage just tickin away on the bad guy, it doesn't matter how much, just as long as it's seen by other players that, yes, we don't do as much damage as everyone makes it sound like I do. I'm not the UBER 733t class of PvP, by no means. I'm just there to heal my comrades and stay alive.
BTW, TEF sucks.....had to add that, was killed by a Player that went Overt as I walked by him. I don't blame him, it is war....he was cool about it though, so I blame TEF.....NERF TEF!!!! hehehehe

Ohh the Devs are gona catch hell for fixing that class. 600 a tick (it is possible with realy expensive components and no venum but not possible on all servers) Lets see your beef is that we AE not that we do lots of damage. Please make sure that you address the correct issue. If you don't like it that we AE than complain about our AE ability not that we do lots of DPS. if you have 10 people you have a combined health of say 20k and we tick every second for75 per person soour DPS to your 20k of health is 750. This gives you 26 seconds to get rid of this stuff. More than enough time to have a doc (if you only have one in a group of 10 you are a moron) heal you and or meditate it off.
This asumes 8 seconds between ticks, if it is 10 seconds between ticks you have 33 seconds.
In this time you know to spread out so that only a few of you get hit at a time, and the docs can keep up with the healing.

The nerf cries are for the AE poisons, not particulary the singles. It is just way too powerful in its current state. Before I dropped CM, I was able to make 235 effectiveness AE mind poison that was next to never resisted. That being said, 235 effectiveness hits for 470 damage at master.
Anyhow, to your proposal. This would make poison even that much stronger. For example, I am a master doctor. If poison ticks every second, I could literally be chain poisoned(happens now but it is doable) without any chance for survival. Yes I know I can cure just as fast as you can throw, but there is lag time, think time, peace cure time. In a battle, I really doubt I could cure myself in under 1 second unless I was just standing there waiting for it. As it is now, I can get in two cures before poison ticks. If something like this went live, I could never cure anyone but myself because CMs would spam their poison even more than they do now.
Most things in this game have a counter. CMs however do not have an effective one. It should not be forced that when pvping ever 3rd person is a Doctor or atleast has poison heal abilities to be effective. For instance, rifleman/any fighting class's damage is severly affected by blind/stun, or intimidate(TKAs hitting for 80 before armor anyone?) CMs need an effective counter, or their damage reduced. End of story.
