Thread: How many of you plan to drop Combat Medic if 1hp poison goes live?

Tranced, just have to correct you on something. You said -


"commandos do 2k - 4k damage to mobs, to players cut by 3/4ths. poison never got those reductions. so say i do 4k damage, thats 500 damage one hit"


Um, when you subtract 75% from 4000 you are left with a 1000 point hit, not 500. i.e. you probably just incapped your target in one shot. 75% of 2-4k is 500-1000 points of damage per shot. The absolute best poison, which has to be thrown within about 40-45m to have it be this strong, is around 500. And you have a decent chance to resist it. We get no resistances to flames. You shoot, we burn.



Erm one thing you missed here is that most people who PVP do so in comp armour which will have 60%+ or more resist to his damage type. Whereas CM damage gets through every time, and is rarely resisted.

Of course I think too many people would drop it like a bad habit but I personally have no problems with the change...
