Thread: What is the main problem you have with the +1 change
It will be funny, after the next patch, when the CM's on your server constantly pump you full of disease, in return for your exploiting.
Its not an exploit, sorry if you don't use the resources available. I'll give you a hint since you're a little slow. You have to interact with other players. Specifically Chefs, smugglers, Dancers, and you must be able to power boost from TKA.
Eat me.
Btw, +500 muon, +500 food, +500 drink, +1000 mind buff from dancer, doesn't equal 8k. With your power boost, I'm guessing 4k tops when you don't exploit (which, from the sounds of things, you commonly do).

A dancer will double, not +1000... so I am wondering if it ends up doubling mind that has already been spice and chef buffed (in other words, effectively doubling the effectiveness of those buffs, but giving you the benefit for 2 hours). This was something that was asked when the entertainer buffs were announced and I never did see an answer on this.
Perhaps it's 1000 mind + 500 spice + 500 food + 500 drink + ? power-boost (I'm not terribly familiar with TKAs) and then doubled from a dancer.
Of course 8K mind does sound a lot like an exploit on face value.
Ding Ding Ding. That is correct. Here is exactly how it's done, and if you think it's an exploit then so be it.
/watch dancer; muon gold, food/drink, powerboost, /stop watch; muongold, food/drink, power boost. Fight for 10 minutes with 8k mind and then massive downer.

If I may accept the +1 change for the Mind bar, I can't agreed it for Health and Action.
The main problem about poisons is the Mind bar, the 2 others can be healed with ease if you have the Novice Medic skill.
But the Bleed must follow the same way.

I won't call it an exploit until SOE does, but I suspect that it isn't intended. Power-boost and dancer stacking for triple mind (rather than 2.5 times mind) might be intended, but I doubt that the percentage based increases are really supposed to use food and spice in their calculations.
This does mean that any non-TKA can still get 5000+ mind (assuming starting mind of around 1000).
Actually, after some careful though, a +1 DOT isn't so bad, considering seems like other CMs poison other CMs as well.
Since I'm a Carabineer, I can simply use action poisons instead -- and hit the person with a leg shot -- one shot, one kill. Granted they can continue healing, but stack some action bleeds, with action poison, and a knockdown -- they done for.
I prefer this method to the loser CM of "Run in, throw mind poison, run away screaming."
We're Combat Medics afterall, not wimpy terrorists!
Wow.
Right now the CM is great, except for some minor bugs, I'm relatively new to the whole mmorpg thing, 1 month into this game to be exact, I chose Doc and CM whenI started, and I do not plan on starting over, which will have to happen if the +1 change goes into affect, it sounds horrible. It will kill my player completely, I have no weapon skills...
The day that comes into effect is the day I uninstall sadly.
Just my 2 cents on the matter after reading these threads for a while.. IMO, dot's should incap and kill a player if it goes untreated. This makes things realistic, as in real life you can be killed by bleeding to death, just as you can be killed by poision, or by a gun. And i think it makes it even worse, due to the fact that poisions are a CM's (if you chose to just go CM, im not talking about any weapon-weilding classes here) main weapon, so the capacity to kill with it should exist.and being that, these poisions aren't just "house-hold" cleaning types poisions - they are especially made for use in war, do you think its plausible that someone would invent a poision, for use in war that wouldnt kill? come on...when did u last hear of someone that came in contact with agent orange, smallpox, or ebola live
- these poisions will be made to kill, just as a gun is, as should do so.
