Is Combat Medic still fun to play or is it worthless since the nerf? Are the Dots still powerful but just for ashorter duration now?

most a tick.. um 2kish.. but that was with a full stack of poions A,B,C and area versions
(avoids the question of if it's fun to play)
DOT's are still powerful.. very powerful.. some still say too powerful.. but now there's a 'counter' if you have a well supplied doc around

CM poisions can be very powerful, but the area cures of doctors are even more powerfull. But I have to say that cm still got their place in large battles, not as powerfull as before but still a good CM can spread much panic.

The highest tick I've seen is a disease for about4.5k on a target that has 1000 BF. The DPS is still low due to the fourty second timer.

my best effectivness is 580 =( iwant higher lol but im not master cm so i guess its ok

I think from a broader perspective on the game... CM is even more effective now than it was before. I think the population of CM's went down, the amount of battles CM's are involved in went down, and now your more likely to find CM's right now poisoning some poor creatures to death for mondo xp than fighting them in battle.
CM vs Doc wars if not for this jedi stuff would probably still be raging on. The only thing that ever changed is now Docs can actually counter a CM. Instead of that slow losing battle they used to fight before.
But it's back to basics, if they don't got a doc, and soooo many of them don't... they are sooo screwed.....
Resist buffs are helpfull, but they don't suddenly allow non-doc enhanced professions to go after CM's without worry.

My highest effectivness was 482. May not seem high to some cms but I didnt use venom ^_-

Highest tick I've ever seen was 675. I've never seen any of this 1k and up legendary stuff. I guess either I'm a horrible cm, or Kauri just doesn't have the resources that every other galaxy has.

My best stuff can hit a lil over 400 eff, but real low on good resources, so most of it is in the 350-375 range. And I still haven't looted venom, camp that dang spider all day once, got 5 through 2 sets of buffs and got so tired of nothing else of value crap, I just gave up on the venom thing
As for fun, I have a blast. With the radical drop in the cm population, it amazes me how many ppl run around without resist buffs and without docs. Even with docs, it can still swing in our favor. Im a md/mcm, and it takes at least 2 hits of my area to cure my high pot stuff, usually 3. If I get a nice stack going, the doc is gonna take a tick before they cure em all, eventually those docs drop and everyone is toast. And with the new jedi garbage, lots of folks dropping doc too, I know our city got real low on em. But we can still have fun, at least the fights last longer now.

irrc i have seen poisons that ticked for 1.8k, was made using looted components though and amazing venom. I know i have sen poisons tick for a fair bit over 1k as someone in my guild has/had a mind disease that ticks for 1k.
