Doctor speed buff: nerfed in publish 21

Jedi speed buff: nerfed in publish 21

Stacking Jedi and Doctor speed buffs: nerfed in publish 21


Combat Medic speed debuff: unchanged


I'm pointing this out not only as a jedi player, but asmy alter-egoBH/CM player, too. I think it sucks that all the + speed buff are getting nerfed, but that being the case then the only balacing thing to do with thyroid rupture is to reduce its effects as well. Not a popular thing to say, but given the other changes it only makes sense.


I suppose this is where the flames begin.

I agree with you. I'm going to get Jedi Enhancer and the speed buff would be nice. I'm also Cm and think that this needs reduction or nerfing as well. But like you said let the flames begin. Or for the CM's Deuterium toss' begin.

sorry i have to stab the CM's in the back on this one, if docs get their speed buff reduced the CM's sure the hell need their speed reduction debuff reduced to the same amount.

Thyroid rupture is an attack. It takes time and pool points to land, and you have to be up close. The buffs can be applied anywhere at any time.


Don't nerf a useful ability because one of your own was being abused.

i think to solve their orignial issue which was stacking jedi speed with doc speed... would just to make them not stack... there problem solved... no 'nerfing' required of anyone.... but no, they have to reduce it from 40 to 25 points.... however that 25 still stacks with the jedi what is it 15... to be a 40....


oh well guess i'm just being a little whinny... ok end of my pathetic little rant... but my idea as to a solution still stands

I feel that its alright if debuffs have more "anti" value than buffs have value because they are attacks which need to be landed and have a (relative to buff duration) short duration.

That said, I agree that this change is being poorly implemented. Instead of removing the ability for the speeds to stack, they are simply going to nerf each. This allows jedi to continue to be fastest swingers (if they have whatever template allows the speed buff).

any skill can be considered abuse if it becomes popular and combined with other buffs/skills of similar power. if you want to go that route we can bring up the topic of paralyse, i am sure alot can say THAT skill is abused!

well if you were to place the ability of doctor next to combat medic, as far as usefulness doctor is at the bottom, so i don't care how much the combat medics dislike what i am going to say BUT! you guys seriously deserve a couple hits with the nerf bat.

A doctor is made for healing and enhancing your bhattle play, combat medic is the neutrilizer that takes it out, doctros can heal while running, and combat medics get range and snares and debuffs such as thyroid rupture to help in it, its not like the debusff lasts for 15 minutes the the doctor one
