Thread: Anyone tested CM eff tapes? I have

We need hard data from you to say the effectiveness tapes are working. Use the formula in the FAQ to determine what your damage should be with and without the tapes.
Throw poisons while wearing the suit and without the suit.
All poisons should have the same stats.
If indeed the effectiveness tapes are working, you should notice a much larger damage increase than 2 points.

CM effectivness Tapes; Anyone tested em? I have been.
Some say these work.
Others say it does not.
Have +20 CM eff, +10 Healing Range, +20 Ranged Inury Treatment speed, +5 Healing Range, and + 15 Injury Treatment Speed (MEDIC MOD) in a suit now and can't tell the difference.
If it does work CM eff that is seems that +20 gives +2 added damage at 4004!
As well none of the other mods in this suit work either as far as i can tell going to test it on my Master CM today if a guildies willing again. LOL

I have not tested the tapes, but I did test the Nyax necklace (+5 CM effectiveness) on TC, both as a master cm and 4444. There was no difference.

They are loot drops from Nyax NPCs, but as my previous post points out, they don't do anything.

There was a post like last month I think where someone did extensive testing with the various tapes out there. None of them worked except for experimentation and he couldn't really tell if assembly had an effect either. Of course assembly is a tough one to gauge any way you look at it. If you do a little searching you might be able to find that post.

yea ill try to look it up for ya, i dont think so much that they are borked, just possibly they all cap at 100?
im not sure, but i THINK an old friend said he noticed a difference when he had a nyax necklace on when he was 0004... i dunno tho

in TC they bumbed the necklace to +15??

I remember reading something about the Devs feeling that any CM effectiveness, or Med use enhancements would be unbalancing to the profession. I totally agree since any non master should do less damage and have access to fewer Stims/poisons/diseases than a dabbler no matter what kind of SEA's he has aquired. Just my .02

You are correct. They said this about both regular med use and combat med use.

I was under the impression that ranged injury treatment speed did work, but effectivness, meduse and healing range did not.

That was long-time speculation that has been put to rest by actual testing. They don't work at all.
