jfang, do you know if there's a cap on IA power? I just can't seem to get higher than 60 on mine (except on crafting day, but that doesn't count).
Because the best resources you canuse are1000 OQ 1000 DR, there must be a cap on power for injection amplifiers.
From what I can tell, the forumla for advanced injection amplifiers is 5 + 70*percentage experimented. The percentage experimented is capped at (OQ/1000)*.75 + (DR/1000)*.25. Average the two resources you use.
If you find this isn't the case (for example, you get experimentation up to 90% but still only have 60 power), let me know. ![]()

This is still in works, but:
Advanced Injection amplifiers:
formula: 5+70*percentage you get experimented up to. If you get to around 55 strength you are doing well, and 60 is very good.
Advanced resilience compound:
formula:
potency: 10+90*percentage you get experimented up to.
duration: 5 + 175*percentage experimented on.
If you can get potency to be around 60 or 70 you are doing well, duration doesn't really matter as much.
Advanced dispersal mechanisms:
Not sure, I think mine are around 20 charges, 17 range, 15 area effect, but I'm not sure.
jfang's formulas look correct (edited to correct a mistake in my calcs).
ADM charges appears to be 5 + 25*percent (0.25 per 1% of experimentation)
ADM range appears to be 5 + 20*percent
ADM Area appears to be 5 + 15*percent

I just ran the numbers on the CM components. Your AIA looks correct. ARC potency looks correct. I think that the ARC duration may be 20+150*% rahter than 175

When you say percent, do you mean the listed percentage on the component, or some invisible percentage of each stat (which when averaged give you the listed experimentation percentage in the window)? When I ran the numbers using the listed percentage on the experimentation screen, I couldn't get the numbers to add up straight. I kept getting one off errors...
I'm having a horrible time editing my last post. I made a mistake in my calculation and your ARC duration is correct.
As far as the percentages go, it is an "invisible" percentage as the listed percentage is definitely an average of both percents on any line where two stats are effected. The only way to adequately test this is to experiment something to the max and compare the final results to expected experimentation maximums. If you do one with garbage resources and one with good resources, you end up with two points that you can draw a line between.
So on ADM range and charges, you have to ignore the displayed experimentation percent and figure out the expected % max, experiment to that max, and figure stuff out from there.
- If a resource doesn't have a stat, the other resources will "make up the slack". So a 0 PE metal is not a bad thing, it just means that PE is overweight in the other resources
- Resources are weighted based on the quantity used in the schematic
Weaponsmiths discovered the second one and for the most part it doesn't affect medical crafters since every resource is used in equal quantities. That is not the case with CM poisons. Based on these two principles, here are what I think the formulas would be for an Area C poison -
NF = Non-Ferrous, LP = Liquid Petro, F = Fungi
PowerRating = (2*OQ + PE)/3 = (2*(12*NF OQ + 25*LP OQ + 20*F OQ)/57 + (25*LP PE + 20*F PE)/45)/3
